Actually, it's more of a "how should I plan things over the next 2 months" question.
Some of you know I will be having bladder repair surgery on the 26th. Anyway, I will have a weight restriction of no more than 10lbs during the 2 month recovery period. I will have H helping me for most of it, but his schedule is completely bonkers, so I can't rely on him 100%.
I need some input on what to do. Should I try and make a crapload of stuff right now and freeze it? Do grocery deliveries? Or none of the above.
If you can swing it, freezer meals sound like they would be easiest on you. Even if you get a grocery delivery (which is a good idea for perishables), for dinner all you will need to do is reheat.
Majorwife on CEP did a freezer meal extravaganza before her second baby was born and is a great resource for recipes, if you go that route.

Crapload and freeze. Take one or two days and make doubles and freeze everything. Before I had W I checked out Freezer Meals for Dummies from the library, tagged a bunch of pages and then made a big trip to the store. What I liked about their book is that it usually makes two portions for the freezer. Even better, it gives you cooking instruction from frozen (instead of "thaw overnight and then bake"). Have YH or a friend help you so you don't want to kill yourself halfway through.
