H just called to tell me he booked four nights at a campsite in August for he and the two older boys. Apparently we discussed this at some point, either when I was hugely pregnant or had a newborn, and I don't recall the conversation at all. Needless to say, he's taking the toddler and the 10yo camping for four nights and leaving me home with the baby.
Guys. I will only have ONE BABY to take care of for FOUR NIGHTS. What am I going to do with myself after 6:30pm every night!?
AND he told me that he wants to make this a yearly tradition (which started last year when he took both boys for a few nights). Next year when D is a year and a half he'll take him too and leave me gloriously alone in my house for a few nights. I mean, is it 2017 yet!?
The packers didn't show up until 11:30 but had three bedrooms, the bathroom, and the hall closet packed by 1:15. So, they are speedy.
I took the kids for a drive for milkshakes and they both fell asleep! I drove around for an hour and now I'm sitting in the driveway. Neither of them woke up. This is better than supervising packers.

H took ds1 oot for a few days last month and it was seriously the best three days of my recent life lol. I went shopping, ate take out, watched movies, took naps. Glorious.
My dad picked the boys home from sports camp and brought them home, but DS1 wouldn't get out of the car. He said he wanted to go home with grandpa instead. Sure kid! Fine by me!
So now they boys are there for about 4 hours this afternoon. So I'll just have DD, who will hopefully take a decent nap later. Score!
We had to fire our cleaning ladies now that I am no longer employed. Today would be a scheduled cleaning day so I thought I would do it instead. 4.5 hours later and I'm finally sitting down. I don't think I want to do that regularly.
I had a result today. A lady in my neighbourhood was giving away a bumbo. When I went to pick it up, she offered me a huge box of girls clothes, a Bundle me and a snowsuit. And we hit it off and she invited me to a street party next week. And she told me about the catholic school thing. What a fortuitous meeting!
The youngest was up at the crack of dawn so I assumed an early nap was in order. I had to pick up some prescriptions and we were out of fruit and other perishables so I took all three to the grocery. Which I hate doing, I should have done click list, I immediately spend $9 at Starbucks on coffee and milks for all three as soon as we walked in. I know better.
Anyway, that was exhausting and it was nearly lunchtime so we came home, I fed everyone lunch and then spend like 3 hours trying to force an early nap only to have him fall asleep at the same time as normal, well, even a little later than normal.
WFH job I was excited about called, hiring manager is looking for someone with a more all encompassing commercial background right now and my experience is pretty specific. So they're going to pass for this particular opening. Hr lady said she anticipates that they'll need someone with my history soon and wants to keep me in the loop. I reminded her that I'm really looking for something with a September start date and she seemed enthused but I don't know. Oh well. I knew it couldn't possibly be that easy.
Just finishing up an hour on the treadmill desk. Not such a great idea when I had to present on my conf call, I sounded majorly out of breath, but oh well! At least i'll hit my 10k steps today!
DH texted to say he's going fishing after work. I wish it was warmer so N & I could hit up the pool.

DH was bummed that I said I would go camping before, but not after Memorial Day. I think he tried to make me jealous by saying just him & N would go? OK GREAT!

We have an RV (totally H's thing, not mine), so I did tell H that D and I might consider driving separately and coming up for one night since we could be comfortable. Tent camping would be a big fat no from me even without kids.
Someone in my neighborhood swap page gave away an entire basket of Ner1um stuff. Must be cleaning out their 'brand rep' stash? There were so many people who wanted it free! I'm sure the R&F reps are pissed.
My SIL's wedding is in 8 days and no one has given me info on where/how to get DD's flower girl dress. I'm so over this whole event.

J's daycare has observation pods for all the classrooms. I've rarely had time to sit and watch him interact with the other kids so I'm going to head there shortly and watch him for a bit before I pick him up. I hope he's good!
Last 4 hours at the lake by myself. It's actually been really pleasant. The house is a disaster but who cares. DD is napping, then I'm feeding DS and laying down to take a nap.
Breastfeeding is really not going well. We are almost completely pumping and feeding at this point. I am a lot more upset about this than I thought I would be
I have been super stressed due to work this week. I was also due to have my period this week and it never came. I POAS and it was negative. So at least I have one less thing to be stressed about AND no period this month! Win win?

Oh no Do you want troubleshooting help? Do you have contact info for LCs?
I saw a pregnant woman today that was carrying so low that I wouldn't be surprised if the baby's head was hanging out of her vagina. Holy crap, the poor thing looked so uncomfortable.
DS has apparently decided that naps are for suckers. He was doing so well with his naps lately, I really thought he was turning a corner. But he turned too far and now is going in the opposite direction.
So I leashed the toddler today. It was the best idea ever. I don't think I really got judged and several women told me it was a great idea. And the toddler loves it. She will not take it off. Everyone should get one if they are solo outing with a spirited child. I got the skip hop harness.
