Today is the last day of school! Yippee! DH and I will be home with DS all summer! I'm so excited.
I'm looking for suggestions for things for us to do. Obviously we're up in NH, but I was curious if you guys have any recommendations in Mass as well. He's a good car traveler so we don't mind. He's only 6 months as well, so I know a lot won't really be appropriate for him yet.
My list so far:
baby story time at the library
We have teacher passes to the aquarium and the science museum so we can go for free

Congrats on making it through the school year!
Ben is a little older, but still not mobile, so he's not able to do a whole lot of activities. He loves watching kids, though, so if your son is similar, maybe bring him over to the Common or the greenway to watch the kids run around on the splash pad and the frog pond? The cookie truck is sometimes over there, too The Stone Zoo is small, but good for little kids. We're also planning to meet my brother and his family for a picnic over at the deCordova grounds one day.
If you have a library card, they usually have museum passes you can borrow for free or reduced admission, too.
Does your town have a recreation department? Mine does and they offer a few great baby classes! We took a baby gym class that was so much fun. I'm bummed we can't go anymore because of my work schedule. DD really enjoyed it.
We also found a weekly playgroup that was run by the local family resource network. Oh and I joined a meetup group in my town to find other playgroups. Those were really fun for DD and it was nice to meet other moms.
We took DD to Kimball Farm recently and that was fun. Richardsons might be closer for you. We also went strawberry picking and she loved that. Is Amesbury near you? Our favorite pick your own farm is Cider Hill Farm. It is beautiful and they have the best cider donuts.
We also started hitting local indoor playgrounds once DD started crawling. Great in the winter. I just searched on Yelp to find ones in our area.
