I'm swimming tomorrow morning, but otherwise our only plans include me working overtime this weekend.
Also, got up this morning at 5 and our power's been out since 2am because some drunk toolbag missed a turn and took out our power pole. So no shower, no straightening my hair, and no coffee for me this morning (at least until I can get to a Starbucks). Grrrr.
tonight: cleaning, laundry, packing and cut the grass tomorrow: We are flying to WI then hanging out with my FIL Sunday: my youngest brother graduates high school
I come home on Monday and DH is staying there until Thursday so I'll have the house to myself for 3 whole glorious days!!!
My random is depressing: my grandmother died this morning. I'm sad but ok with it. There was about to be a fight about a feeding tube that would have broken my family, so for a bad thing to happen, it happened in a better way than it could have.
I'm volunteering with a city gardening group tomorrow and our summer tenant moves in. Sunday i plan to do nothing except maybe remember my grandmother since i'm not planning to turn around and make that flight again for the funeral on Sun.

I'm in NYC at Google. I'm irritated because my boss didnt do any debugging. Don't get home until after midnight. Tomorrow we are going to go pick up the girls at my parents and then stay. Sunday we have my FILs birthday. I'm going to need a weekend after my weekend!!

I'm so sorry for your loss, @juno.
Today was hanging out with Barney (see dog below) as he had surgery yesterday. Tomorrow will be working out, checking out the house to see what's happened to it and maybe going out for a beer. Sunday will be a pub lunch with out of town friends and then a pub quiz with other friends in the evening.
Today I took two of the pups to the vet for a 'senior check'. Jehzara just turned 11, and the others will be there soon, two in less than 3 mos. They are fine, but it took forever and cost a fortune once you add in three months of heartworm prevention for four dogs and Fiona's eyedrops (she has dry eye in one eye).
It is currently 85, but feels like 99. DH decided that we should set up a fountain that we bought during his lunch hour, and it was ridiculously hot out there. I kept trying to find places that were shaded to stand, and I was glad when we finally turned the water on.
This is not my photo, but you get the idea. We have glass slag that DH picked up on a job site instead of the rocks. I haven't finished arranging it yet, it was too hot outside so I will wait until some other time to make it pretty. It can also be used without the pump as a rain barrel. It has a valve with a hose hookup near the base on the side, and it is easy to hook up a hose to it.
I think we are going to check out the chickens at our neighbor's house tomorrow. Beyond that, we aren't making plans other than getting groceries. The weather is predictably unpredictable, (heat is a given, but rain and thunderstorms are tricky), so we will have to work around that.
I am comfortable with this state of affairs continuing.
In all seriousness, we're hosting Father's Day next weekend, so I need to finish our new canopy. Which means hemming a shit ton of fabric and buying the cable system and ring clips.
And weeding. Maybe buying some patio plants. And replacing our Adirondack that broke in the storm last weekend.
ETA: This is the only weekend in months where there are no obligations - no soccer, no swim, no family stuff, no weddings, etc.

tillie, he is so much happier. It works as the wound is on his side and would be good for something on his belly or but (as you can pull it up and over the tail region). It was suggested by people who used it when they spayed their dogs. The only downside is that it's a bit warm for him but London is cool enough right now that it's not too bad.
