E was up at 5:45 and she wouldn't go back to sleep even with us. DH got up with her and now I'm catching up on RHONY. We're meeting FIL for breakfast later.
Both kids were up for forever at midnight, so my entire family is beyond cranky right now thanks to sleep deprivation. We have to leave for family pictures in 45 minutes. This should go well.
It was my turn to sleep in, but DH fucked it up. I had to nudge then shove him repeatedly to wake up with DS (so I was already awake) AND he left DD's monitor in our bedroom so she woke me up again 20 minutes later. Not cool dude.
DD was up a million times last night. Every time I went in, she was on all fours, rocking back and forth. So it looks like she's working out that crawling thing?
If she could work on it during the day, instead of 3 am, that'd be great.
DD was still up at 6:45 despite going to bed an hour later due to our UC visit. We have a splash pad play date at 10 with my BFF and her kids, hopefully she makes it with no melt downs.

Last night was so fun! I was the perfect amount of drunk with no hangover today. I danced and danced but was in bed by midnight. I slept for nearly 8 hours uninterrupted! We're meeting family for breakfast this morning then doing some more visiting before heading home and back to L.

Kids were up early so I took them to a coffee shop for breakfast so DH could get some work done. Thank goodness they have toys here so I can drink my coffee in peace.

Yesterday, I felt like my life was flashing before my eyes. I was flying in a small propeller plane over the Alpes and it was quite turbulent. I hate flying and since it was such a small plane we were not that far from the mountains. My DH and kid loved the scenic views but I nearly kissed the ground when we landed.
I asked my H to make me an iced coffee while I showered and he laughed and told me it was cheating to poop before WW weigh-in. I told him to mind his own business!
H took K to Wegmans and I'm hanging out in bed with the other two while they watch curious George. I think we are going to go to the zoo today for a bit (the small one 10mins away where we have a membership).
J passed his baked egg challenge yesterday so that means I have a lot of baking to do today too because he has to eat a homemade baked good with egg in it at least 1x daily. I'm glad he passed but the baking gets old!

8.5 months and basically an IV of alcohol from 4 pm-10:30pm. That's how long it takes for sex to not hurt after delivering a large baby via "vaginal c-section" (nurse's words, not mine.)
Yesterday was super busy, tball, dance dress rehearsal and then a kid birthday party with some of our besties. I didn't realize the wine spritzers were spiked with vodka and God know what else, so hello day drunk. I though I was drinking diluted wine! I was sober and slightly hung over by bedtime, not what I planned for the evening.
My four year was up at like 4, super concerned about his night light, only thing that eventually fixed it was stealing his sister's nightlight. Anyway, then I was wide awake till 6 when both boys woke up and then I was so exhausted, I was having full, vivid dreams every five minutes I was able to close my eyes. I eventually gave up on sleep and came downstairs with the boys.
We have to get to mass at one point. Babysitter comes at 1:30. We have a funeral to go to, my dad's girlfriend's dad passed this week. Then we'll come home, pick up DD and go to her dance recital without the boys, so we can actually watch the recital. We took them last year and with four grandparents, not a single one volunteered to take a turn in the lobby so DH and I could watch the show. Learned that lesson.
More fun with DS's vocabulary: Sit up = cigarette Basket = batshit W = devil Choo train = cocaine or Two Chainz
We went out for pizza on Friday and I asked DS to tell the waitress what type of pizza he wanted. He said sausage and she started laughing and was mildly shocked.
She told us she heard "dog shit" clear as day and thought we were playing a joke on her!
I'm grateful to have a good milk supply, but still having an oversupply at 15 months can be tiring. DD nurses 4x during the day and 1-2x MOTN. Yesterday I thought I was safe to skip ONE feeding to attend my BFF's birthday party at a winery. Yeah, apparently not. I was engorged by bedtime, and I'm still so full that each feeding DD drains like 1/2 of one breast. So STILL, 4 feedings later, she's keeping me just off the verge of engorgement, but not making any progress at emptying my breasts. Who knew I would still have so much milk at 15 months.
We got home from our vacation (a week at the beach) yesterday. I fell asleep in the couch around 7:30, moved to our bed at 12, and slept until I heard DD at 6:15. Fell back to sleep for a little bit after feeding her. DS slept late and didn't come into our room until 9. Amazing night of sleep for everyone.
Our vacation was so much fun. We go with a few other families and share a big house with a pool. Kids are the same age and play so well together. We had one night where we all went out, thanks to my mom coming over to be in the house while the kids were sleeping. We also had a guys night and then a ladies night. Ladies night was a blast. The bartender was giving us terrible shots for free, I think because we were entertaining. I was heckling him and the band - apparently someone called me the most annoying person in the bar. It was hilarious.
Thanks to leonard131 for some great recommendations! The kids all looooved Funland and our ladies night dinner was at S.alt Air.

I am sorry you had to wake up, that is no fun.
Your DS is getting to a good age where you should be able to teach him a routine so he doesn't have to wake a parent up on non-school mornings. My kids have access to fruit, cereal, and other healthy snacks. They usually play, read, watch tv, or the tablet while they wait for us to wake up. Someone would still have to get up with your daughter, but it sounds like she usually sleeps a little later.
We are at an impasse about a third kid. It's not something either of us want to compromise on and is causing quite a bit of tension. His rationale is basically that he's lazy and has a sports car that seats four. I'm not basing my life around his fucking car.
In other news, target has really comfy sheets on clearance. We got a set for our bed and it's like heaven.
H is sitting on the couch and keeps falling asleep instead of getting coffee. According to the alarm system he set it at 230am. Sorry not sorry you didn't go to bed at 10? Your choice.
We are going to kennywood today. M is SO excited. It doesn't open until 1030 which seems so late.

Thank you for the ideas, but someone has to get up at the same time DS wakes to let out the dog and the chickens anyway. It just wasn't my turn darn it!
Yesterday I bought tons of soaps, candles and wallflowers at Bath & Body Works' semi-annual sale including a cucumber melon scent wallflower. My house now smells like a 13 year old. Ahhhh memories!
Ds1 said goodbye to his BFF here yesterday and he was so sad. It broke my heart. All this moving was so much easier before we had kids, both emotionally and logistically.
Luckily, he's 3 and makes friends with randos at the playground by just saying hi and then chasing them lol.
Baby was only up once at 12:15. I love him so much.

H woke up DD at 5:00 this morning, when she normally sleeps until at least 8:30. And this was after she went to bed an hour and a half late last night. And we have a 6-7 hour drive today. And DD does not sleep in the car.
