Tell me she did not marry Matthew. OMFG! I didn't expect her to run into Strike's arms, but I figured she'd leave Matthew at the alter. She can't leave me hanging like this!
Yes, I'm finished. The last scene was Strike crashing the wedding and then she's says I do to the priest. Right? I was listening to it, but I thought that's what I understood

She said I do while looking at Strike though... So maybe she didn't go through with it and in the next book we pick up right where we left off?
I don't recall her saying "I do." I recall Strike running into the church but nothing after that. My memory must be refusing to accept the possibility that she married Matthew.

Right. I remember it saying that she had a huge grin on her face looking at Strike, but it was in response to the Priest and Matthew. The next book can't come out fast enough! I need to know! I imagine it would take another book or two for Strike and Robin to figure out anything at all between them, if at all, but I'm eager for it! They compliment each other so well. Matthew is so dull and was more concerned about her not marrying him than the fact that there was a killer after her!

He's so self-absorbed that I don't wonder about him being concerned about himself mostly. He's a giant dick. I was so proud of Robin for walking away from him. But, it's too good to be true.

I listened a couple of times, too, and that's what I remember.
I hope that she begins to comprehend more that Strike allows her to be herself more than she's ever allowed herself. He's not without flaws and neither she she, but she's a shell of a person with Matthew. I think she knows it, but I wonder if she doesn't think she can do (or should do) much about it. Being comfortable in the old cycle and scared of a new one.
It angered me several times how little Matthew cared for her well being. I was really hoping that Strike showed up to the hospital after being attached and she had forgotten to call Matthew and that was the last straw, but alas. Wishful thinking.

Comfortable/scared is exactly it.
I'm sure Rowling has something good (entertaining) in the works.
