One of J's friends just told me his ex girlfriend didn't like being in bathing suits in front of other people, so he understood why I didn't want to go in the hot tub with them.
No, I'm just tired because I've been awake since 4 am so I don't really feel like bothering with the hot tub, you mansplaining twat.

I am going to watch Outlander tonight and hopefully start the research/outline for a paper due on Tuesday. Did a bunch of clean up wrk in the yard today and the heat just sucked the life out of me, so I kind of doubt I'll be very productive.

Have fun!
I broke up with a realtor today and I'm not sure if it could have gone worse. He left me a nasty message, I still haven't listened to the whole thing. We then talked on the phone where he screamed some more and told me to search clue on Craigslist to see if I could find one. He's so wonderful and we are shit. I then got drunk at noon and passed out. I can't wait until cleaning up this nightmare of a mess is over.
I just made some vanilla ice cream and it was delicious. I also had my first amazon fresh delivery this morning and I think I can get into it.

Today I bought paint for the master bathroom. I'm not sure I'll finish everything this weekend (depends in large part on how long it takesto dig the supplies out of the crawl space tomorrow), but I can see the light!!! Very very excited.
Scandinavian Swimmers from Trader Joe's are really good.
I think I want to start planning a trip to DC. I was there once as a child (like age 6 maybe) but I don't remember anything because we were with my grandparents and apparently we went on a sight seeing bus tour or something but my grandfather wouldn't let us get off the bus because he was afraid we'd never catch another one. So we saw a number of sights from the windows of the bus.

When my gym went out of business while I was sick I was legit devastated. The majority of my non-family social life centered around my gym and I'd never been so physically active before.
When I was able to return to working out I started back at the "regular" gym I'd gone to years ago. I thought I'd just try and get somewhat active again and then find another "home." Thought maybe CrossFit when I could afford it.
Well, I've made gym friends! Not to mention some of my "old" gym friends. I know this all sounds stupid, but on Wednesday I got two friend requests from new gym friends and it made me feel so warm inside. Not to mention we all go as a family now and Ella loves the babysitting!

Do it! I lived in the metro-DC for 5 years, but every so often friends and I would go play tourist. So much to see and do. I'd just suggest not going in the dead of summer because humidity.
Dss just spilled red kool aid all over the fucking carpet and sofa. H is shampooing the carpet now, but idk how the fuck I'm going to clean the sofa. I tried a vinegar spray, and nothing.
He just called me to ask what I am wearing so he can dress appropriately. Sure ok maybe he should be able to dress himself, but I however find this super cute that he's putting the effort in. Give it a year and it would annoy me that he can't pick out his own damn clothes.
Hahahaha, 14 years later, H STILL asks me what I'm wearing and asks me to pick between two shirts. Every time, lol. I love it. I think it's super thoughtful and I love that he cares because I think it's because he knows I care about that stuff!
I can't wait to hear how the date goes! It sounds promising.
I've muted the TV and I'm listening to the rain (it's really pouring at the moment).
I also avoided going over the neighbors and screaming at them in a blind rage about their music. I live in a residential neighborhood (no HOA, outside city limits) and occasionally they go outside and blast music with their bass up so high I can feel it thumping in my house, even though their backyard is at least 20 feet away. I hate them.

I got off work all night tonight!I'm excited for that. I'm at that point though where I don't have anything to do on a Saturday night. My friends all have kids and don't really go out anymore. I need to make new friends, but damn if that shit isn't exhausting. It's like dating all over again.

I'm thinking avoid cherry blossom time, right? Seeing them isn't really a priority and I know it's insane then. Maybe fall? I don't know, I should probably alert dh to my plan lol

They are beautiful, but I'd personally avoid the crowds! Fall is good, but maybe I'm a delicate flower, but I think the humidity still blows in September.

Good to know, I hate humidity. lol.
I may have more questions if dh is on board so don't be surprised if I come looking for you

There are several around here who still currently live in the area and will be better resources, but I'm glad to help.

Cherry blossom time is fun but crowded. Plus the last 5 or so years the predicted bloom time was off so there were a lot of events but no blooms. We don't live far but booked a hotel deal one year and it didn't bloom the whole time. That was depressing.

That would suck. Ok, no planning our trip around mother nature. lol

I'm on a plane back home (yay for WiFi at 10,000+ feet!) and more than anything, I'm excited to see my dog.
I already want to go back because I'm not ready for vacation to be over, but I'll be back in a month, and this time with my best friend. Can't come quick enough.

Just finished food prep for tomorrow. I made an overnight banana brown sugar French toast dish. And I put the rub on the the racks of ribs and wrapped them up.
All I want to do is a watch a funny movie when kids are finally a sleep.
