Rita Mae Brown's Mrs. Murphy mysteries are always fun and easy reads. I've recently discovered Marian Chesney/M.C. Beaton's Travelling Matchmaker series which have been quick, fun reads. Mary Stewart's thrillers are easy to read and keep my attention very well.
