thanks everyone and particular @this ! I was able to get a lot of good ones for free!
If you want more, DD loved all of the "That's Not My..." books from a super early age. And the Indestructibles books (Kate Merritt) are GREAT. They don't rip, babies can chew on them, and they're machine washable!
Yep I added a couple of each of those to my cart! I used the suggestion link at the bottom of the page! Thanks so much!
I got a Sandra Boynton set and Richard Scarry books. I can't recommend Richard Scarry enough. The illustrations are very colorful and detailed, and DS likes to just look at them while I describe them. His favorite is Cars and Trucks and Things that Go. I loved those books when I was a kid, so it's nice to be able to share them with him.
Have you ever looked into the author Nancy Tillman? She is a wonderful author and her books are beautifully illustrated. Check out The night you were born. There are several books that follow and all of them are fantastic!
My younger kid is super into rhyming books. I guess bc he doesn't know what words mean but likes the sound of my voice. I guesd the rhymes make it sing songy. Current favorites are Giraffes Can't Dance and Little Blue Truck
