I'm still not sure I've felt her yet, but at my last ultrasound the tech mentioned I have a fundal placenta and that it's placement could be the cause for a delay in first feeling baby. In any case, having a placenta on top is supposed to cushion any kicks to the ribs so I'll probably be thankful for it later. lol
My placenta is in front also and I'm 20 weeks. I'm not sure if I've felt it yet. My stomach seems to be growling all the time, but I haven't yet determined if this is kicking or if I am just hungry ALL the time now.
I was just telling my H today that sometimes when baby flips it feels like my stomach dropping like I'm on a roller coaster. Sometimes it feels like little bubbles. Other times I feel definite kicks and jabs.

Every one has felt different. This one, I can feel the outline of his legs through my stomach sometimes. Like I can hold his leg between my fingers. I remember the second was more quick jabs. Earlier in my pregnancies, I would describe it kind of like a tickling sensation.
Like there's an angry ninja in my belly who is trying to break out. He punches and jabs and kicks really hard. Since he's gotten so big, this has been reduced to a pushing sensation, like he's trying to stretch out but just doesn't have the room. Sorry, baby.

A lot like this. Sometimes it is just repetitive jabs at one spot (kicks), sometimes with smaller jabs on the opposite side (elbows/hands). When she turns or flips it is the weirdest feeling. Roller coaster is a good way to describe it.
I started feeling him last week, just before 18 weeks. Sometimes just little flutters, sometimes the "stomach drop" feeling, and some are definite little jabs. None painful. Sometimes kind of feels like your insides are shifting around a bit.

It started out as bubbles and like a tiny goldfish. Then it felt like rolling and swirling for a while. Then it became pokes and kicks and I finally knew his head from his butt or feet. Now it is sometimes feeling like my entire insides are pressing out and threatening to explode.
