HALLELUJAH I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE. I have had such a hard time getting out and running lately. I'm lucky if I run twice a week. Doubly lucky if my weekly mileage hits >6 miles. On my run this morning (my first run this week) I was trying to figure out what my problem was. I was getting 20 miles a week.
I'm with al320 and blaming the heat. I can only run in the mornings before work so I'm not doing it as much. Although I didn't have a problem getting out of bed to run until the last month or so. Hmmm....
Yes, but I need to build up my endurance first. I'd be a major drag. I went out tonight and made is a terrible .25 of a mile before taking a walk break.

*hangs head in shame*
Now, it was 84+ degrees BUT STILL.
The heat is OPPRESSIVE. I run right after work and it's awful. Let me know if you want to join me - even for just a mile or two!
I have kept up with running and biking and swimming, but since my half in early June I have not run more than 4 miles. Which was just last weekend. I really need to up my mileage; it is just so hot and BUGGY and WHO HAS THE TIME!?

I'm embarrassed that I've gained 10 pounds in the last six months. My workouts/food intake has remained fairly consistent, but I think I've dipped a little on the intensity.
@vtcupcake at the rate I'm going through nuun (including drinking it right now to replace electrolytes from this morning's sufferfest and prepare for tomorrow's even longer sufferfest) I'm going to have to suck it up and try the new stuff soon. Maybe I'll try watermelon.
Not a shameful confession. I've taken a break too. I was really glad to finish the final 52 half that I didn't run at all for 2 weeks. I have been slowly doing a few runs, mostly with my dog, barely under 8min/mile pace, but I have been cycling and swimming more. I'm allowing myself a break. The last year has been tough on my feet.
Really late to this post, but this is making me feel better. I ran Broad Street May 1 and have run maybe 5 times since.
My only other exercise is a weekly cardio class-- and it has been getting noticeably harder for me as I'm losing fitness. I really need to get back into a routine, but I'm struggling to find the motivation.
