This is extremely random, but I do not understand the current trend of men who shave their heads but then have a full beard. You look strange. It's like the hair migrated from the top to the bottom or something. Also, it's summer. That has to be hot and itchy. And sweaty. So then I think it must smell.

There are so many weird man trends lately. there's a guy in my yoga class who has shaved sides and a man bun. But he's definitely older with some gray hair. And I hate it but can't help but stare at it when I'm at yoga. Lol.
It's only Wednesday. Today could have been my last day but instead I have 3 days. And they haven't even started slowing down my work or communication with clients. Lol.
Huh. Maybe I am the only one who seems to get face sweat. I can't even wear makeup in the summer. I feel like it slides off.
Maybe it's an Indian thing. I sweat a lot. Lol.
Maybe? But you think we would be better at this being in the heat thing. I get all hot thinking of my cousins wearing saris in India and a full face of makeup for weddings etc in the summer there. My face is always SO SHINY when I go in the summer. They probably think I am a hot mess...because I sure look like it!
I'm probably going to get flamed for this.... I'm judging my coworker real hard. She's letting her bf of 3 months move in with her and her 3 year old kid. Her kid co-sleeps, so the 3 of them have been sharing a bed for the past month or so. Her ex-BF is petitioning to have custody of the kid every other weekend and she is upset over it because she doesn't want her kid to be around his girlfriend of almost 1 year. My coworker is even trying to set up the custody agreement so that her ex-BF isn't allowed to have any GFs around the kid. My coworker also doesn't want to share custody of her kid even though she drops the kid with her parents *at least* every other weekend (and addition to letting her stay with them about 2-3 times during the week) so she can go out of town on dates with her BF. I understand that sharing custody is tough, but I don't understand what's up with the double standard.
steph96, I would judge that as well. More so the fact that she continues to bed share even with this new boyfriend. It seems like a double standard, but we don't know what the girlfriend is like. Who knows.
hamster, I am tempted to d/l the game as well but then that means less space for BB pictures on my phone. Priorities!

Idk if she has even met the girlfriend. She is trying to make it where any future girlfriends also can't be around her kid so I don't think it's a current girlfriend issue. But who knows. I'm sure if her ex-BF knew, he also wouldn't be happy that she's subjecting her kid to a guy she's known for 3 months. Idk how she plans on keeping it a secret.
I have a coworker that I dont like, like really dont like. She is negative, nothing positive comes out of her mouth and instead of using my name she calls me "girl", I dont know why but it really pisses me off. She is about to be our charge nurse and I am not happy about this decision.
I was going to say that I wouldn't respond unless she calls you by name, except now she's your charge nurse. Ugh. Sorry.

Deep thoughts this morning.
When my husband did this, it was laziness. We both love him with a beard (very carefully groomed) but he got a little lax about getting a haircut so we'd go in the backyard with his clippers and I'd shave his head. I didn't mind the look, but I 100% prefer hubs with a beard!

raangoli, add to that my frizzy hair. Omg. My hair has been a disaster for weeks now. I am so glad I chose a wedding date not in July or August. I'd be such a mess.

This whole Pokémon thing has me thinking many uncharitable thoughts, mostly centered around oblivious people meandering along the running/biking trails
So in the lead up to new Gilmore Girls on Netflix, I thought I might start listening to Gilmore Guys. I love the West Wing Weekly so I figured this would be similar.
I listened to the pilot and OMG it's awful. They talk about the actual show for maybe 10 min total, the rest is just annoying banter that's not even that funny. There's a clip at the beginning where the creator says it gets better, they work through difficulties, etc. If you've listened and it really does get better, let me know, because I don't want to invest anymore time into this if it remains this crappy.

Can someone just tranquilize me for the next month or so? The packers come Saturday and I'm so not ready. The kids were sick with strep (and on my birthday), we fly in a week and close on our house in 9 days. Then repairs, paint, new carpet, buy two cars, unpack two shipments and decide about the kids' school.

Oh goodness. I was wondering whether you had moved already. I hope everything goes as smoothly as possible. I'd send you some valium if I could.

I am so in denial about how close your leave date is; "we fly in a week" just hit me like a ton of bricks
Ugh. Same coworker as above. I'm having to train her to do some of my monthly processes. Nobody else knows how to do them. I've told her that many times. She's busy texting or messing around on Pinterest and won't pay attention. Wtf. They are going to be so screwed. Oh well.
