I think of few people here have read this. Anyone care to discuss? I finished it last week and I didn't find the audio intolerable, like others have said. I have it 3 stars overall. I think the ending was abrupt, but I'm like 75% sure that it indicated that Lily was done for right. Finally stopping her?

Well, there are two schools of thought: they would find the bodies and she was done for, or the bulldozing may further bury the evidence. There are also theories her father knew about the bodies and may have done something to cover for her-as there are hints he knew what was in the well. I think that's what I liked most about the ending-you don't know. And you can continue the debate of whether you WANT her to get away with it or not, and why. Do you WANT the leveling of the property to hide the bodies? Or uncover them?
Huh. That's so interesting and clever. To me, it was pretty clear that her Dad knew something was up and was preparing her for the fact that the bodies are likely to be found. Conversely, the other path makes complete sense.
I just remember my face being shocked that after everything, it looked like the well was going to be discovered, then The End. I kind of loved it for it in a perverse way because the whole book was twisted, so it made sense.
