Lurker looking for advice...we are taking family pictures on Friday. Temp is supposed to be in the mid-60's, so fall-ish weather. This is what I'm planning, but tell me if it's too matchy-matchy.
Everyone in dark wash jeans. Boys (4 and 1) in Pumas or Chucks, DH in brown shoes, me in brown boots. Boys in oxford blue button ups with the sleeves rolled, untucked. DH in a navy polo, or else a white button up with sleeves rolled. Me in a navy and wine striped blazer maybe with a scarf. I also have a navy argyle vest for DS #1 in case the matching outfits for the boys are too much.
I think that sounds adorable! I can almost picture the cuteness!
I like the idea of all of the guys wearing different button-up "looks" (H in white button down, DS 1 in button down and vest, and DS 2 in button down, all with rolled sleeves). It sounds more like its coordinating and not super matchy. I also like that there are a variety of colors that are coordinating (white, brown, blue, navy, wine). What color is the shirt you are wearing under the blazer? And the scarf?
Yay! I feel better now. I keep looking at family picture outfit ideas on Pinterest and feel inadequate! I'm planning on a simple white scoop neck tee under the blazer. I really want to wear a scarf, but now that I've settled on the striped blazer instead of solid, I'm not sure. Maybe just a chunky necklace instead? I probably don't fit in here because I don't have bubbles
