I had false labor for like 10 days before the real thing. Contractions would start, get 5ish minutes apart, then fizzle out. At the end of August in TX I was SO OVER IT! Do you know if you're dilated at all?
For my second my first actually told me I'd have the baby the next day and I did. I also felt a lot better the day before I had her and then I woke up with contractions at 4am the next day. I was just happier and felt better, I don't know how else to describe it, a coworker of mine noticed my mood shift as well.
For my third, I had contractions that I thought would turn into something a week before, but they fizzled quickly. And again I felt better And happier right before going into labor. Labor started at like 8pm. I think the endorphins must start releasing before labor or something.

I had no signs to labor. Braxton Hicks contractions started the beginning of the second tri, so that wasn't a sign for me. I didn't even lose my MP this time. Hang in there. I hope things start soon for you!

I had no signs of labor with my second, even had a scheduled c-section. My daughter arrived 2 1/2 weeks early, I started with pain in my groin around 2:30 on morning and she was born via emergency c-section later that morning.
Had a cervical check in the am and was 4.5-5 cm dilated. Had a very busy day and went to a work thing for an hour or two. Started contracting there but they stopped pretty quickly. Started again at midnight and they didn't stop.
She slowed down her movement a lot the day before. I had horrible diarrhea in the very early morning hours and a few contractions. Labor started at 11:30-ish am and I was holding her 4 hours later.

I was losing my plug for like 2 weeks straight. It drove me nuts wondering what was going to happen and when.
The day of, we were quite busy so I guess I did feel pretty good. Then contractions started and felt more like bad cramps and I remember thinking, this is different, after having several nights a week of contractions that went nowhere from 33-37 weeks. Then water broke at 11, and I STILL wasn't sure, lol. I think I was in denial :-)
I just felt done. It was my due date and I was working, and for the first time I felt like my body was done with being pregnant. I took it really slow and put my feet up a lot that day, which I hadn't really needed to do at work before then. I told everyone that I didn't think I'd be there the next day, and sure enough contractions started overnight and DD2 was born the next day.
Not really. I'd had a few random contractions here and there a few days before my water broke, but none that were close together or lasted for a prolonged period. We had a relatively active day (playground, out to lunch, solo parenting that evening while DH was out), but I didn't feel any better or any more miserable than usual

Nothing. I knew I was already 4.5cm, and I was at 40w1d and losing my mind. DH took me to the hospital, and I was at 6cm, so they made me stay and get my GBS abx. Nothing happened until they broke my water at 7.5cm. Then all hell broke loose, and I had a baby in my arms an hour later. Not sure if your midwives will operate this way. My dr was already concerned about a quick labor, based on my delivery with kid 1.
I had an irritable uterus and felt like I was having real contractions for weeks. I went in when they were consistently 5 minutes apart, and delivered shortly after. They did break my water for me as soon as I was admitted (5-6cm).
With my 3rd, I went for the elective induction at 39w. I was second guessing myself for weeks. False alarms are annoying!
I had red spotting and cramps the day I went into labor. With my daughter my water broke so I was waiting for that to happen, but it didn't break with my son until I was 9cms and in the hospital.
I woke up at my usual time and realized I was having regular contractions that were less than five minutes apart within an hour. Otherwise, I had no other sign and thought for sure I was headed towards another induction which had been scheduled for two days later.
My second was my only spontaneous labor; my first and third were induced.

spunbutterfly, I'm right there with you. The one "good" thing is I was 6 days late with my first, so I'm just expecting to be late again so as not to be too disappointed. Also, my mom is not coming until Monday evening (due thurs) so I'm hoping to hold out until then, even though I'm so done now.
