Wait, so that Allegiant movie that came out sort-of-recently didn't cover the whole third book? I assumed that it had. I like to pretend that that third book never happened.

I haven't seen the last movie yet but I agree the ending of the last book was awful. My poor husband spoiled the end to a co-worker who hadn't read the book, but how are you supposed to know it's in 2 parts?
On an unrelated note, wasn't 50 Shades of Gray supposed to be a series of movies too?
I only watched the first movie, but the 3rd book was such a steaming pile of shit, that I always kind of assumed that they would change everything about it in the 3rd movie and not try to split it up like they did with HG3 and HP7.
Trying to milk this dry cow with a 4th (TV) movie and TV series makes zero sense. The quality of the story and content just isn't there.
Also, that entire book was crap, not just the end. It was basically like, "Oh, books on and two were a dream, this is the real world you know nothing about and won't really be developed because I need to end this story now as I am a terrible writer." I watched the first movie because MH knew I read the books and took me as a surprise. I actually DID love the first book, though, so, meh. I haven't seen any of the others.

I guess they're planning on introducing new characters in the tv movie that the spin off would be about. I don't know. I think the whole thing is an epic fail. I didn't watch Insurgent and I honestly didn't know that Allegiant was on video already til yesterday. I did love the first book when Four was Four but it went downhill once he was 'Tobias' IMO.

Since I haven't seen the 3rd movie I shouldn't keep going on this, but depending on where the movie ended, what else can they cover? I agree HG3 shouldn't have been split either, esp when they take so many years to make, you forget about the movies and make less money.
Did anyone read the "Four" short stories? Was that one any good?

I thought they were good. I gave them 4 and 5 stars.
