Someone posted this is a local mom's group. It's for all ages so I didn't @ it.
Anyone know about the Compassion Experience? Good, bad or indifferent? I thought about taking my oldest son but now I'm second guessing myself on the right thing to do.
I'm not a fan of Compassion International and would give this a miss.
IIRC, neither is @mx . I believe she indicated they give out entirely too much information on the children.
Okay. I swear I googled GBCN and Compassion and came up with nothing. But my spidey senses tingled so I figured I'd ask before booking it. Glad I did. Thanks.SaveSave

It was in a thread on sponsorship organizations on ML, I think.
I am generally opposed to sponsorship organizations, but mx and Moe, both of whom have more years and broader experience in the international development field than I do, were a bit more forgiving.
However, mx specifically singled out Compassion as an organization to avoid.
