Do you have anything else you want to share with the group?
QOTW: Do you drink coffee? If so, how do you prepare it -- manual drip, automatic drip, French press, pod machine, cold press, home espresso machine, stovetop espresso pot, old-fashioned percolator?

Currently reading Summer Days and Summer Nights: 12 Love Stories. It's been okay.
I've never liked coffee, not even coffee flavored ice cream. Will drink tea, but usually just when it's cold outside.
I am currently reading What She Knew. I have no opinion one way or the other on it yet. It's fine.
Mmm, coffee. I love it but only in the morning. After about 9 am I no longer want it. I make a pot every morning. French press coffee is really good but I'm too lazy for that. I like setting the timer and having instant caffeine available to me when I wake up.
I'm reading Arsenic with Austen by Katherine Bolger Hyde. It's just ok, but it's fast enough to be worth finishing.
Yes please more coffee please. I have a basic automatic drip coffee maker and make a couple of cups for me each morning (DH doesn't drink it). I hear a lot of people say they can't make decent coffee in an automatic drip without making a whole pot, but I've not found that to be the case.

I'm still reading Before the Fall. I haven't had too much time lately to make a lot of progress but I really like it.
I'm also listening to The Invention of Wings for a book club. The narrators are awesome and I'm really loving this book.
I love coffee. I drink it every morning and afternoon. At home, I have a keurig that I use to make it. At work, I just buy it from the big coffee machines in the cafe.
I set Justice Hall (Laurie R. King) aside to pick up 11/22/63 (Stephen King) and I am totally hooked. I'm about 20% through it already and I'm taking a mental health day and will spend a lot of it reading. (Not taking the day to read, I really did have a horrible night, but it doesn't hurt that I have a good book to read.)
QOTW: I don't drink coffee, but for a while I was drinking a milk-based, coffee-flavored drink. I hesitate to even call it an iced latte, as true coffee people would laugh. The calories were killing me, though, so I've kicked that habit. I do love coffee-flavored sweets, though (ice cream, icing on cake).
I'm still reading The Lake House. I don't think I've read more than two chapters since last week. I don't know if it's the book or the stress of everything going on right now. The book just isn't holding my interest. I still have intentions of trying to finish it.
I don't drink coffee, never have. I gave up caffeine about two years ago after years of trying to quit.

Happy Friday!
I just finished up The Good Lord Bird a couple days ago and have started listening to The Goldfinch. I'm only an hour into it, but so far, I'm pretty engaged. I'm a little concerned about the fact that it's 32 hours though! That's a marathon of a book. I'm hoping to get more through The Kill Order this weekend so I can finally finish it up. I'm not loving it, but I'm half way through would like to know how it ties into the rest of the series.
QOTW: I drink coffee every day, multiple times a day. While I enjoy a yummy mocha or latte, I usually drink regular coffee. At home, we brew it using a Chemex and even grind up the beans prior to brewing it. As long as we have good fresh beans, I'll drink the coffee black. But, I'll use creamer on occasion as well. I love coffee and probably drink too much of it, but it's so good, I can't help it!
I just finished up The Friend Zone which was fluffy man candy, so I was pleased. I'm listening to Zac and Mia and I'm not enthralled. That and it's supposed to be in Australia and the audio missed out on a fantastic opportunity to display the sexy accent.
I'll drink coffee most ways. I have a lot of coffee makers. Drip, French Press, Moka, Keurig, and a semi automatic espresso machine. That thing is like an art form that I haven't mastered yet, but I'm working on it. Sad thing is out of all these coffee makers I typically buy Dunks every morning. I do use the others, but I just drink A LOT of coffee. I want a fully automatic next, but the cost is putting me off.
I'm a little anxious typing semi and fully automatic in this climate, but I swear I'm talking about coffee makers!!

I'm still reading Gloria Steinem's book Life on the Road. I enjoy it but I haven't had much time to read this week due to my sister and nieces visiting earlier in the week and other obligations/rehearsal stuff. I'm also listening to Me Before You in the car. I'm on Chapter 7, and certain elements of the story annoy me but I'm still enjoying it.
QOTW: DH is a coffee fiend so I bought him a grind and brew pot that grinds the beans, drops them into the filter, and then brews into a thermal carafe. He loves it, and we recently had to replace it and got the exact same model. We buy our beans from the local co-op; they're fair trade. I drink my mug in the morning and he pretty much drinks the rest of it. I need creamer in mine, and I tried to find better alternatives to the non-dairy creamer (real milk/cream makes my stomach hurt), but I just can't find anything I like as week as the Bailey's. Ugh. DH drinks his black.
I'm (still) reading "Words of Radiance" by Brandon Sanderson, also reading "Sacrifice" by Brigid Kemmerer (last book in a YA series), and listening to Our Souls at Night by Kent Haruf.
Earlier this week I finished listening to "Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe" (narrated by Lin-Manuel Miranda!!) and "Never Seduce a Scot" by Maya Banks (a surprisingly good historical romance, all things considered), and reading "The Rose & The Dagger" by Renee Ahdieh (good, but the first book in the duology series was better).
QOTW: I hate all things coffee. I'm surprised to see so many non-coffee drinkers on here, we're a rare breed from my experience.
I was reading The Husbands Secret but couldn't get into it so I stopped and started reading Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter. I think I will go back and give The Husbands Secret another shot after I finish this one.
Not a coffee drinker, I need mine coffee sugared and flavoured up. I usually drink fraps and iced coffees.

I like The Husband's Secret. I think I am scarred by Pretty Girls, I am unlikely to pick that author up again, but I did keep reading (I read it quickly as it actually affected my sleep).
I hope to finish The Silk Worm tomorrow, then pull something from my Nook. I have a crazy number of choices - I love buying books and not enough time to read!
QOTW: I love coffee. (heart) I have an espresso machine that gets used for my daily cappuccino. I have apologized more than once to my DH for complaining about something before I had coffee! I also love cold brewed coffee in the summer (to take to work) and I add a milk (no sweetener). I have a Keurig at work, it is just me, so it fills the need. Some weekends I will use the French press, but it just seems to take longer. I also have three coffee grinders!
I finished Beautiful Lies by Lisa Unger last night, and I thought it was just OK. The pacing and narration just didn't work for me, and it was kind of disappointing because I loved the idea behind the book, just not the execution.
Still working on the procrastination book, I'm procrastinating on reading it, because I'm not finding it helpful. LOL!
I'm also two chapters into Who Fears Death by Nnedi Okorafor. I'm not far enough into this one yet to have a fully formed opinion, but it's looking promising.
QOTW: I'm not a big coffee drinker, I think it's too bitter (I also don't consume caffeine very often these days either). I never drink it at home, or order it in a restaurant, and if I'm at a coffee shop I'm probably ordering hot chocolate instead. If I do have it, I'll get something frou frou, that's mostly milk and flavored syrups with as little coffee as possible.
I need creamer in mine, and I tried to find better alternatives to the non-dairy creamer (real milk/cream makes my stomach hurt), but I just can't find anything I like as week as the Bailey's. Ugh. DH drinks his black.
You've probably tried it already, but I love unsweetened almond milk in my coffee. Soy milk tastes good but it almost always curdles for me, so I gave up on that.

This week I am mostly obsessively reading everything election-related. So, no change from last week (America's Women on Kindle...I just realized Gail Collins writes for the NYT...and sort of halfheartedly listening to All the Light you Cannot See).
QOTW: Yes. In fact, I should go make a Friday afternoon mocha right now. (When I don't use our espresso maker, I generally use a French press, occasionally a mocha pot.)
I'm reading The Kind Worth Killing I don't mind murder mysteries, etc most of the time but this is really dark and the characters are very unlikeable, but it's like a train wreck I still want to watch.
I don't drink coffee, I do chai every morning. I do love coffee ice cream though.

I'm reading The Alpine Winter. I'm enjoying it, but I can definitely tell the series is coming to a conclusion. Loose ends from earlier books are being tied up and the overarching plot is coming to a, hopefully, satisfying end.
QOTW: I don't drink coffee either -- well, very rarely, and then it needs tons of sugar and cream. But I was wondering because this week's cooking class was a discussion of coffee and different methods on how to brew it. And then we all got certified to use a professional espresso machine. I was feeling guilty about wasting all the coffee we made practicing with the machine.
I'm finishing up Older, Faster, Stronger (a running/fitness book), and listening to The Girl on the Train which I'm loving. Last week I finished listening to Troublemaker by Leah Remini and it was super interesting in terms of Scientology, Hollywood, etc. She narrated and did an excellent job.
QOTW: a thousand times yes! A couple years ago I got a french press as a gift and was going to use it just on weekends, but one try with fresh ground beans and a press, and I was hooked. I haven't used my drip maker since. It's super easy and makes a huge difference to me in terms of taste. One of my greatest little pleasures is drinking my french press coffee out of my favorite mug while reading a book in the early morning on weekends.

Finished up Red Harlequin by Richardo Ricco, the first two of the series. I like the story. I wanted the get the third one but decided to wait as I just had a couple of books I pre ordered show up on my kindle.
