Thanks! I have been looking at this and wondering if it would be ok in the car seat. We had a perrito the last two seasons (the same one, they run huge) but they are $$$. I think I am going to order the gap one the next time it's on sale.
ETA: it's on sale here too (sometimes Canada doesn't get the same sales) so I ordered the polka dot one.
J had this last year and we really liked it. I was skeptical because it was so thin but he never complained of being cold, even when out in the New England snow!
I bought the North Face mossbud from the nordstrom sale but am worried its too thick... last winter DD wore a patagonia fleece and did fine but was not outside running around.
Debating buying another fleece for everyday where/car seat and then an outside coat...but I think she'll need to keep a coat and snow pants at daycare...
I got one of these for DS2. It's really thin and I wouldn't hesitate to use it with the car seat. It is TTS. Not sure if it will be warm enough during the thick of MI winter, but it should work for Fall and the end of winter
6pm.com has a decent selection of Northface in toddler sizes, both Thermoball and Denali fleeces. Colors are a little funky but the prices are close 50% off list. I just ordered DS a bright orange and blue Denali fleece for $49; they are $89 on Northface for his size (3T).

Thanks! Last year M had a Patagonia on like that we found super on sale - it was the perfect weight. I refuse to pay full price for one this year so looks like the perfect replacement.
