I have a bump on my leg....like an acne bump. It's making me a little cray.
It was so pleasant last night after all the heat. tacocat was it nice there too?
If you received a catalog from a company you've never purchased from before.....AND the company says you have to sign up to receive it in the first place, what would you think?
MrsMB I'd assume either they share mailing lists with a sister company I do frequent, or someone sold then my data.
I'm debating whether to go to the beach this morning. I know people going and it could be fun. It could also be a miserable disaster since it requires downtown driving, parking, and walking. What to do...
MrsMB Ditto amaranth - so many stores are connected nowadays and share lists, that would probably be my first guess.
amaranth Go to the beach! On a side note, the other day DH was telling me that next time we are in Chicago he wants to take me somewhere (I forget - a restaurant maybe?) and he said it's pretty close to you. So whenever we're in town next hopefully we'll make it down to your house.
That is a bad story since I can't actually remember the details.
MrsMB It was pretty nice. H and DS hung out outside while H grilled hot dogs. They were going to go back out after dinner, but it looked like it was going to storm. We did get woken up by storms at like 5 this morning. Luckily it didn't wake DS up and we were able to go back to sleep for a while.
We're taking lunch over to the IL's today. They're leaving for vacation tomorrow so we won't see them for about a week.
We had another Craigslist score this weekend. We got a table and chairs for $50. We might have to scrap the chairs, but the table is worth $50. It's slightly smaller than I was looking for, but it's big enough fpr what we need. Now to figure out what color to paint it.
amaranth: I hate driving so I understand your dilemma. I would probably find somewhere less congested to park and just walk... probably not feasible with the kids though. :S
On that note, guys I totally drove a car today! DH carpooled to an audit and I had an appointment today so I bit the bullet and drove myself. I haven't driven since DH got his wisdom teeth out in September, and never on the main roads of our city.

How come you don't drive? Do you just not like it?
HoneySpider: I think lack of experience & anxiety sort of collided. I've just avoided driving since "I didn't/don't have to" but today the car was there and the appointment was just ridiculously far by transit.
Update on my old boss: she is stable. Lots of fractures that need to be repaired but no brain damage which is great news! Apparently one of our IT guys was there (big group of motorcycles) and saw the whole thing. He sat there with her until the ambulance took her. How scary and sad! I'm so sad for her losing her husband but also so happy she should be OK. I'm sure it will be a long recovery though.

Well, my answer is YES to whatever, especially since next visit you'll have baby spider with you
We went to the beach and it was fine for a few hours, but I couldn't deal with the heat very long.
