I am perplexed and mad that I cannot find one of my favorite hair products. I have searched this house from top to bottom. All of the other hair products and supplies I last used with it are where they belong. I think I may have thrown it out, because otherwise I don't know where it could. How, I threw it out, I have no idea. It's kind of a pain to get.
Oh well, guess I'll just have to replace it.
How's your Tuesday going?
ETA: Yay!!! I found it. As I was taking something out of the dryer, and sleuthing through my phone when I took a picture of my hair using said product, I realized it was in my beach bag. We were visiting SIL, and I was still "perfecting" my hair in the car, and stuck it in the bag. We didn't up at the beach, so I had no reason to clean the bag out.
I feel you. 6 am is the earliest legal start time for construction here in the summer. It's 7 am in the winter. But every morning at 5:30 they start work on the houses they are building on the street behind my house. 5:30 am waking up to a nail gun, hammering and a circular saw is making me cranky. Of course because the city has to send someone out before the 6 am legal start time to confirm any noise complaints, there's nothing we can do because no one from the city can get there fast enough so we're just screwed.
I seriously need to stop shopping online. I ordered a dress with a 60 day return policy. Today is day 58 and I went to the store and found out that I have to return it by mail. Ugh. Now I don't think I can get a refund.
I texted MH from work yesterday to whine about a BEC coworker getting flowers delivered. I came home to find a vase full of hydrangeas and a sweet note (heart)
I also discovered that he bought a bag of our $40 cat food as a surprise ... when I opened the closet to put away the bag of $40 cat food I had just bought. D'oh! And before I went to Petco I asked myself if I should contact him to see if he already bought it, but I thought "Nah, that's always my job, why would he have bought it?" Also I didn't want him thinking it was a passive-aggressive request for him to buy the cat food. So, moral of the story, we now have PLENTY of cat food. It won't go bad since it's in a sealed bag, otherwise I'd donated it to a shelter. At least it saves me from having to buy it again in a few weeks - that's always an unpleasantly large expense, especially when I also have to pick up litter and canned food.
Lord, give me patience to gracious and kind, and give her the wisdom to pull her head out of her ass.
I have found that once the wedding passes, and the pictures are back and the album is made...the crazy settles and you get your friend/sister/whomever back. I hope the same is true for you. In the meantime, :drink: (hug2)
My mother is having a combination of mental health and financial problems. She always seemed very "together" because she had a great job but she has really bungled her retirement. She probably retired too early and with unrealistic expectations. It's like talking to a child. I'm quite stressed out by it and unfortunately and can't just switch it off and make her problems disappear. My sister is also a difficult personality. They are all stressing me out right now.

Our refi appraisal was on the 18th, we (loan officer & us) still haven't heard about the result, it has been two weeks. We don't have a complicated house to compare to anything, I have a list of comps from a local realtor, unsure about the hold up. Our rate lock expires on the 8th. Loan officer said they'd extend it, I would like them to drop it to the current rate, need an appraisal to move forward. I need a date to move money around, get my insurance binder issued with the new bank name, I don't think they've ordered the title search yet.
Hospital billing has driven me to want to drink today. Was told that I'm need to do all of this stuff to get something straightened out, the CSR wasn't listening to anything I was saying and kept trying to talk over me. Then said I was yelling at her - I wasn't coworker was sitting in the next office over with both doors open and we can hear normal level conversations. Finally got her supervisor, oh yeah didn't need to do anything they just had to pull up the info from my insurance and transfer it into their system. As their system is screwy and I have to do this on a monthly basis... giant headache. The first line people can fix this, it isn't something that only the supervisor can do. Then I had to call the other hospital and pay over the phone because their website is dead.

Isn't the postmark good enough? Save
Ohh I hope you're right! That would be great! I always assumed it had to arrive by that date.
