Breast milk question. I took a bottle out of the fridge and put it in the diaper bag, but didn't grab an ice block because I figured DD would wake up to eat while we were out running errands. She didn't wake up in the bottle is now at room temperature. Can I stick it back in the fridge and use the bottle later tonight? Or since it's a bit warm to room temperature should I just get rid of it? I'm leaning towards tossing it, but wanted to check first.
It's fine for my 6 month old to have two "meals" of solids per day, right? I think our pedi said aim for two meals by 9 months but damn this kid loves to eat. He gets really agitated if we are sitting at the table eating without him. So I've been giving him some fruit at breakfast in addition to solids at dinner time. He still nurses every 2-3 hours and my supply seems fine so I don't think he's replacing BM. He just likes food too. KOKO, right?
If it smells fine I would probably give it at her next feeding.
+1
and shelbyann, I think that's fine. Hobbes has been eating solids 3-4x/day for a while now (she's 8.5 mo). She really likes them, who am I to argue? Since she's on the bottom of the growth charts I just try to sneak high nutritional value stuff in at every opportunity. Whole milk greek yogurt mixed with purees instead of cereal, shredded cheese as finger food, etc.

Sounds fine to me. Some kids just like to eat- my DD was like that, too. Our pedi said aim for offering solids 3x a day by 9 months.

Maybe I am remembering incorrectly and it was 3x at 9 months. That makes a lot more sense. As I was typing my post I was thinking that seemed off. Thanks!
shelbyann, yep KOKO My DD was on 2 meals at 6 months also, added in a third around 7 or 7.5 I think. She loves food, but still nursed and didn't slow her intake until closer to 9-10 months.
How much spit up should I worry about for an EBF baby? She just started spitting up a few days ago, once or twice a day.
1-2x/day? Sounds like NBD. I wouldn't worry as long as it doesn't seem painful or distressing for her. Spitting up is pretty normal. Hobbes kind of goes in streaks doing it and not doing it. Her last streak of doing it was around the time of cutting her bottom 2 teeth.
How annoying is a jogging stroller that doesn't have a front wheel that turns? I'm thinking pretty annoying unless you only run in straight lines, right?
(I'm browsing B/S/T sites for used ones and that's all I come across)

I just tip the stroller back a little and turn on the back wheels. Mine has a swivel wheel that you can lock into place, but it's a pretty rough ride when I'm even walking fast if I don't lock the wheel.

Sounds fine. We went to 2 meals at 8 mos but mine took awhile to get used to it. Then 3 meals at 9 mos per pedi.

IME locked wheel is fine and preferable while running. You just tip it back to turn it. Not a huge deal.
If you're using it primarily as stroller for shopping or just bumming around it would be pretty annoying though.
Is it weird that my 8 month old still really only eat purées and fruit? He doesn't understand chewing food at ALL even soft over cooked pasta.
Hobbes doesn't really get it very well either. We've been giving her shredded cheese before her puree dinners lately to let her practice. I think it'll come in time.

I leave our front wheel locked since that's safer for running and don't find it annoying. I don't use the Bob for much besides running though. It would be annoying in close quarters.

No, it would be for actual jogging. I really like our B-Agile for everyday use. I'm glad to read that it's not a big deal. I found one for what seems like a decent price if it's still available.
