I know this is usually newer moms, but I want to show my kid off.
How old is LO? 2.5
What new skills or accomplishments has LO achieved recently? She climbed the rock wall at the playground! I was jumping up and down with excitement when she did it. The same day some grandparents that were at the park with their grandson watched Bean for a minutes and then asked how old she was. I told them and they were all "Seriously? He's that age and he isn't even close to doing the stuff she can do" I told them kids develop at different rates so it's not really fair to compare, but inside I was thinking oh yea, my kid is awesome.
Other than that, just run of the mill stuff. She's getting really into playing the drums and singing along while K plays the guitar on Rock Band. She's started incorporating more Spanish words into her daily talk. She's into dinosaurs this month.
Any big milestones coming up this month? Nope. Well, there's a potty training milestone she might finally conquer, but I don't want to be that parent, if you know what I mean.
Any issues you're running into? Allergies. Ugh I hate allergies. I have hay fever and I was really hoping she wouldn't get it too, but of course she gets all my crappy qualities and all of K's awesome qualities.
And I know this is such a minor thing, but doing her hair is the biggest pain ever. Even when I'm just brushing it up to put into pigtails, she's screaming like I've just stabbed her. I thought we found a cure, her squeezing a pillow while I do it, but that only lasted about a week.
I just started posting here so no one knows me....but I wanted to jump in anyways!

How far along are you? What's your EDD? 7 1/2 weeks. EDD is Jan 1st!!
Any new symptoms? Any symptoms that are ongoing? Morning sickness started a few days ago which blows. Hopefully it doesn't get as bad as it did with DD since DH deploys by the end of the month and it is just me and a toddler!
What size fruit or object is your baby this week? Raspberry
Do you know the sex of your baby(ies)? If no, will you find out? No & No! We waited with DD and it was amazing.
Any big milestones coming up this month? Not really. We have a dating u/s next week that my midwife nicely squeezed me in early for so DH could see it before he leaves
Have you registered? Do you have a theme for baby's room? Nope. I don't plan on a shower for #2 though I might register for the few things we need/want so I can get the nice completion coupon! Baby will be in our room for awhile (DD slept with us until 10 mo) so I don't really see a need in planning out a nursery.
Share a bump pic. No bump yet...just the awesome 1st tri bloat!
What new skills or accomplishments has LO achieved recently? She can jump off the ground which she loves doing all.the.time now. She also learned how to say shit...thank you DH.
We Skype with my parents every week. Last week the fan was on too high and it made a bunch of DH's papers fall out of his cubbie and onto her head. She put her hands on her hips and said "Aw man! Fuck!"
I was all "What did you just say?!" while my parents just busted out laughing.
I'm a long time lurker over on the nest...I hope you don't mind!
How old is LO? He is almost 9 months
What new skills or accomplishments has LO achieved recently? He is cruising along furniture now, which is both a blessing and a curse! He has also finally started babbling.
Any big milestones coming up this month? Nope!
Any issues you're running into? Because of teething he likes to wake up a couple times at night. Recently he has decided he only needs one 30 min nap a day! It's killing me.
I don't have any pics of him on my iPad you all have some cuties though!
How old is LO? She's 7...how on earth did that happen?
What new skills or accomplishments has LO achieved recently? Ummmm, I don't know. She's kind of a turd.
Any big milestones coming up this month? Nope.
Any issues you're running into? (sleepless nights, illness, etc.) She's a turd, does that count.
Share a new picture or two. I'm too lazy.

Have you registered? Do you have a theme for baby's room? I've started a registry but haven't gotten very far on it. I think we are going to go with sock monkeys as our theme, but we haven't really talked too much about it.

How old is LO? K - 2.5 years S - 7 weeks
What new skills or accomplishments has LO achieved recently? K - working on the potty training, I think her biggest accomplishment in the last week is giving me attitude in both english AND spanish (and....we're not hispanic) S - starting to coo and "talk"
Any big milestones coming up this month? K - maybe real underpants?!? S - social smile
Any issues you're running into? (sleepless nights, illness, etc.) K - sibling rivalry has finally kicked in. luckily, she thinks S is the best thing since mac and cheese but she takes it out on me. I've gotten hit, bit or kicked multiple times a day for the last week or so. Also the attitude... S - has a little reflux so started on medicine and thickened formula, and now the poor thing is constipated and uncomfortable. and oh, the sleepless nights...
Share a new picture or two. See below, that was yesterday AM (around 430 because apparently thats the time children wake up in my house....arg)
How old is LO? 21 months. What new skills or accomplishments has LO achieved recently? In the past month, my daughter's vocabulary has blown up. She is a sponge and will repeat almost anything I say (when she is in the mood).
Any big milestones coming up this month? n/a
Any issues you're running into? (sleepless nights, illness, etc.) She used to eat well, but now she is so picky and refuses to eat veggies.
How old is LO? DD1- 2 on Sunday! I just cannot believe it. DD2-5 months
What new skills or accomplishments has LO achieved recently? DD1 is talking up a storm and learning new words every day. She's so observant and always asking questions. She's learned this week how to take off her clothes.
DD2 is on.the.go. I cannot keep her one spot! She either rolls towards whatever object she wants or army crawls. She is getting SO fast at her little army crawl but today she was up on her knees. I could not believe my eyes!
Any big milestones coming up this month?
DD1 will probably be getting her upper 2yr molars (the bottom two came in a few weeks ago) and I really hope she will learn "I love you". She signs it but I really want her to say it.
DD2 I'm sure will perfect her crawling and sitting up unassisted.
Any issues you're running into? (sleepless nights, illness, etc.) DD1 has been fighting her naps more and more and it drives me crazy. I NEED naptime in order to survive. DD2 has a hard time napping mostly because of her big sis. She is so nosey and wants to know what she's doing at all times. She was taking 3 hr naps in the swing but she's quit that. I really need to figure something out with her nap routine though :/

How old is LO? Two and a half next month.
What new skills or accomplishments has LO achieved recently? She's totally potty trained for day time!!! Rarely has accidents at night. She's asking me to "please do ____" instead of getting frustrated she doesn't have something, and it's awesome since I can not stand the whining.
Any big milestones coming up this month? Not that I can think of
Any issues you're running into? (sleepless nights, illness, etc.) Just fits. Stubborn girl.

How far along are you? What's your EDD? 22 weeks, Sep 20

Any big milestones coming up this month? V- Day in a couple of weeks.
Have you registered? Do you have a theme for baby's room? Kind of, but since it's baby no 2, it;s more of a list of things we need to get. We haven't gotten anything. No theme since I can't decide on one. At all. Or anything else for that matter.

How old is LO? 4 - turning 5 in December
What new skills or accomplishments has LO achieved recently? Catching and reeling in his own fish on his pole, without assistance. This is big for him. And coordinating outfits in the morning that don't make me feel the need to talk him "out of" a certain piece.
Any big milestones coming up this month? No, but we get his DK classrooom assignment in July!
Any issues you're running into? (sleepless nights, illness, etc.) Other than me having a hard time keeping up with how much activity (park, soccer, pool, etc) he needs every day for bed time NOT to be a shitstorm, nothing big right now. Occasional attitude issue.

How far along are you? What's your EDD? 22 wk 2 days - Sep 22
Any new symptoms? Any symptoms that are ongoing? Fatigue is back. And backache by the end of the day. Just thankful MS is gone!
What size fruit or object is your baby this week? Babycenter.com says spaghetti squash. (11 inches/1 lb)
Do you know the sex of your baby(ies)? If no, will you find out? Girl!
Any big milestones coming up this month? Not this month but we are nearing the third tri and point of viability (about a month, I think? 26 weeks) so I am obviously looking forward to that!
Have you registered? Do you have a theme for baby's room? Not registering, since she is our 2nd baby. Like Hilly said, just getting things that we need. Friends are throwing me a small shower at a tearoom here before we move in a few weeks, but mostly a clothes/diaper type of thing. Her room theme is Grey, White, Shades of Pink - Chevrons.
IJC was 9 lb 6 oz, I seriously wonder what her size will be!

Oh wow! Well nevermind then. I figured for how cold people say it "always" is there, that you were topping out around 60s. Are you able to get a good cross breeze with open windows/fans or are your windows not placed properly for that? This is what my parents *still* do at their farm house (no a/c). Gotta love it!
My fascinations of the week are formula ingredient labels and the insert from Pitocin packaging. They're like trainwrecks and I can't get enough. I'm feeling particularly "Rah rah breastfeeding!" today.
Seriously, thanks for this. I am struggling with continuing to BF because he is still eating every 2 hours & is getting more squirmy not to mention the pinching and biting. Ugh, holy long sentence. But basically I think we're going through a transition from little baby to mobile baby & he's taking it out on my boobs. I want to keep BFing; it's just really hard some days.

My nephew is a little younger then your son, but he was getting squirmy when eating to the point of playing more then feeding. My sister started swaddling him before mealtime and its working great.
He also eats every two hours or so, but his wanting to eat is from his reflux.

How old is LO? LO will be three in less than two months. How, how, how is this? Please, tell me!
What new skills or accomplishments has LO achieved recently? He is talking up a storm, serious continued language explosion! This is amazing to me considering that a year ago, at nearly two years of age, he was, for all intents and purposes, nonverbal. He has also transitioned from a crib to a toddler bed like a pro!
Any big milestones coming up this month? Given his age, milestones are different. Potty training is one of the next big steps, but he's not showing any interest, and I'm not pushing.
Any issues you're running into? (sleepless nights, illness, etc.). LO has always been a good sleeper. We've had a few hiccups along the way, but on the whole, he has slept well, in his room, alone. That is, until we moved out of our house in NoVA. Since then, the end of February, he and I have at a minimum, shared a room. He has gotten accustomed to having me with him. He is in his own bed now, but I am sleeping in the extra bed in his room--at night and for naps. I know that I need to retrain him, but sleep training a toddler is different than a baby. He will tell me how sad or mad he is, he will get out of his bed and come out of his room. And, we have another big transition coming up (deployment). But, I miss sleeping in our big (über comfortable bed) with DH. I know, it's something I just need to do. . . But I'm taking the easy way out. Well, easy for now.
Share a new picture or two. I'll see if I can find one. . .

How old is LO? *14 months old on Tuesday.
What new skills or accomplishments has LO achieved recently? *They are walking more and more. They started taking solo steps a couple months ago, but they haven't been walking as a primary form of transportation. They're starting to now. *Talking up a storm. *They mimic everything we do. Its presh. *Baby Boy cut a molar. We didn't even know until I saw it when he was laughing the other day.
Any big milestones coming up this month? *We are moving to NC tomorrow. So I guess their first move.
Any issues you're running into? (sleepless nights, illness, etc.) *Baby Boy is having some sleep issues. He takes short naps and he's a light sleeper. He's still a great sleeper he'd just rather be up to see what's going on. *Baby Girl is just sassy. *They MUST feed themselves so meals are a disastrous mess, but its fun and they are having a blast and growing so fast. I don't mind the clean up.
