I feel like crap because we can't afford to send D to preschool while I am being a SAHM. I see all my friends with children the same age talking about the first day of school for their kids, and I just feel horrible. I work with him everyday on ABC's and other things. He can count to 10 by himself and knows all the colors. Regardless I feel like I'm depriving my kids because I decided to quit my job and go back to school.
OH! And DH blew the radiator on his car last night and that is adding to my stress.
End vent, please tell me to shut it and get over myself
Have you looked into a scholarship for pre-school? H's brother's wife works PT and their DD qualified for a reduced tuition at a near by Montessori school.

You most definitely are not depriving your kids! They're able to learn as much at home with you as they would in preschool. You are also setting a good example for your kids by going after the career/schooling that you want.
You are not a bad mom at all. Being a SAHM is hard work and you are offering your babies extra time with momma those other kids aren't getting! Kids will grow up, no matter what. No need to rush them into preschool.

Eh, don't worry about it. He gets socialization and you go over the basics. If you feel really inclined, co-op preschools are much more reasonably priced. I really don't think you are a crap parent, though, for not sending him. He's probably too smart for it anyway.

I didn't go to preschool and I think I'm pretty smart .
Like the other girls say he'd be probably doing be the same stuff at home as he would in preschool. He's lucky to get this time at home with his momma.

Thanks guys, I am planning on having Donovan do fall soccer for some socialization and exercise. I just wish we could win the lotto or something so money wouldn't be an issue and I could give my kids everything
