A flexible one? Example, one week it might be M-W-F, another might be T-W-T, just depending on meetings/calendar schedule. But I think a 3 day workweek would be pretty awesome.
I work about that now, M-T 9-5, but as a lawyer I'm on call and answer emails on my days off. I don't do a ton of work if I can help it, but I'm still reachable and semi-plugged in. It's pretty sweet, TBH.
probably 3 10s. or 3 8s and then a 6 hour day. I've also considered 8:30-2:30 M_F so that I could take the girls to school and drop them off, but I think I'd want a 3 day weekend.
Never take Monday as the off day, unless you have a really sweet plan in place to deal with holidays. Half of federal holidays are on Mondays. It's why my two in-office days are Mondays and Tuesdays. The weeks of MLK, Presidents', Memorial, Labor, and Columbus Days, I only have to come into the office once. If any of the other holidays fall on a Monday (aka Christmas this year), that's even more weeks I'm only in the office once!
Think strategically!
If I had to do 5 days/week, I'd do 10-4:30 (assuming a 30 minute lunch break here). I suck at mornings, but this would still get me home at a decent time.

I work 6 hour days and it's awesome (9:00-4:00 with a 1 hour lunch). I drop the kids off at school before work and they have an hour on their own after school before I get home. It makes a massive difference in our lives to have those extra 2 free hours every day

My selfish preference would be M-Th. However, my work would prefer M-F reduced hours and it would be better for the kids to have shorter days at school/daycare. We have several part time people and it's harder on other colleagues and clients when they are out for an entire day a week. Their absence is much less noticeable when they are in the office everyday, to the point of people not realizing they work reduced hours. I would also stay at 32 hours to keep my benefits.

I don't think 3 10s are an option for me. My kids aren't in school yet but their elementary will be 730-2, if that changes anything. I will get full time benefits at 30 hours
I would like to commute fewer days and have a full day off. OTOH, if I was working a reduced schedule I wouldn't want to work 10-hour days (would complicate childcare, etc.) So I would compromise and work 7.5 hours M-Th.

Oh also, I would be wfh but will need to take my kids to daycare. Either way we will pay for full time daycare. Just not sure if I am better off doing 6 hrs a day or 4 days. I feel like I am more likely to work out if I do 6hrs/day. But maybe I'm kidding myself lol
3 12s (what I work right now) is not fun. 3 10s is not much better. and it absolutely complicates childcare. that's why my vote is for more days, shorter hours. before having a kid, 3 12s was awesome.
I do 9s now to have every other Friday off, so I'd happily do a 10th hour for an extra day. My team is flexible and doesn't really dock time for lunch because we often work extra hours and it's kind of a wash.
