Poll: Thinking about dying my hair PIPs

I've been thinking about dying my hair. Not sure if I should go lighter or darker.

This is my current natural color:


This was my natural lighter color (can't find a picture when I had blonde highlights):


This was a faded auburn (again, can't find a picture of when it was really dark):


I'm not even sure if you can tell the difference in any of these pictures.

Before I opened the post, I was ready to say "brown" but for you, I say blonder highlights.

The last guy that did my hair got kind of excited about maybe doing a dark red. But H prefers lighter. I'm cool with whatever, but feel kinda like doing something different. Staying the same would be MM.

I've had purple hair at one point. If my job would allow it, I'd have blue hair a la Katy Perry.

You look good with lighter and darker. For fall I would say why not go darker. But you must have a preference, right? Which way do you really want to go?

is your hair reddish now? I think a lighter strawberry blonde would look great on you. I don't think i'd like darker anything for you --- you are fair like me, and i just think going too dark looks bad on pale-chicks like me.

It depends on the lighting. Sometimes it look very strawberry blonde. Sometimes it looks dark blonde or light brown.

I have a combination of black hair, bleach blonde hair, brown hair, and red hair. My hair is very confused.

Tough question, I think both are good options. I think I'd go a touch darker now for fall and winter, but then go light again for spring and summer.

Also, the photo of 5 year old you made me LOL. Serious child is serious.

Dark! And darken your brows a little! That would look pretty for fall.

I like your current color the best but I would say keep the natural or go lighter because your brows are very light.

I voted darker, maybe with some honey/lighter highlights - not light, just lighter. I'd also tint your brows if you do that.

I agree that tinting your brows would make a much bigger difference than anything you could do to your hair color. But I say go darker auburn for fall.
