best app to back up text messages

Does anyone have an app they can suggest that I can use to backup all of the texts STBXH has sent me?  I don't want to back up everything from everyone, just this one.

I've tried a couple but they seem to miss stuff.

It's an app called "backup to gmail."

The reviews of "backup to gmail" all say it used to be great, now it sucks.

Uh, I've been using it 5 years without issue. It's a background app. I'm not sure what there is to be sucky about it.

I use SMS Backup+ that backs up to my Gmail account. I just started after finding the new reviews on Backup to Gmail.
