Tonight I found a purse I fell in love with. I bought it for my birthday and I hope my H agrees. lol. He wasn't answering texts while I was in the store. But now I'm second guessing the price. It is a Coach bag and it was on clearance for $150. I know Coach isn't considered designer anymore or all that fancy, so I'm wondering if this is too much. I honestly just loved the pattern and didn't care about the label, but I do want it to be a decent deal. Does anyone know? Maybe katespade?
Also, I'm thinking about trying those Thinx underwear for period backup. But they're like $35 a piece. Insane.

amaranth you should look into cloth pads instead of the Thinx I use cloth liners as backup for my cup (which I need a new one of - anyone try the Luna cup?). I got them cheap from a FB co-op, let me know if you want me to add you to it! They do it every month or two I think. Depends on the brand.

I could even sew my own. I guess I just don't like the idea of anything extra to feel bulky or move around, which is why Thinx is appealing. I use a cup too so I really only need it for leak protection or on light/spotty days when it may not be constant flow. How bulky or wiggly are the homemade pads? Would they work with thongs?
My period hasn't come back from having S yet, but it came back at 4 months with M so I'm expecting it any day and want to be prepared (ugh...)

They aren't bad at all! Plus they're soft unlike the papery disposable ones (which I do still occasionally use) so you don't notice them that much. There are different lengths and absorbancies. I just have the lightest ones. They snap in two spots so they're a little adjustable. I'm not sure if they'd work with thongs, never tried! They would be wider so my guess is that they'd possibly move but it wouldn't hurt to try!
Here's the pic I took in the store to send my H. Pink & grey flowers with silver and black trim. It's so me.
that bag is adorable. If you're rethinking the price you might want to see if you have any Coach outlets near you and see if they have that style in stock, they might have it for cheaper, or with Labor Day around the corner they may have a further holiday discount.
I think you both also use Piper Wai? Not sure if you already knew, but GNC just started carrying it- $13, $12 for GNC members. If you buy online and sign up for a recurring order (every 30 days, etc.), after your initial order, you get free shipping and 10% off.
This will end up being cheaper for me than ordering directly from Piper Wai. Not sure where you girls buy yours, but wanted to share!

Nice! I bought mine directly from their website because on Amazon it was like $40! I'll have to check that out!
