So yesterday my H had a dentist appointment and he fell asleep in the chair and the dentist nicked a perfectly fine tooth when he gagged himself awake. He went to work last night in lots of pain and feeling like utter crap. He told me not to lock the sliding glass door since he wouldn't be gone more than 2 hours.
He left at 11:30 last night and I went to bed about 12:15-12:30. I wake up at 2:30 to eerie music. I was a little freaked out because I didn't know if H had gotten home yet or not. So I grabbed my phone out from under my pillow and texted him "I love you! Are you home yet?" 30 seconds later I get a response of "Um..." back. I had accidentally texted a friend of ours that instead of sending it to my H.
I quickly sent the same text to my H who responded that yes he was home and he was sorry if it woke me up. I told him what I had done and he laughed at me. We both laughed it off. And our friend thought it was pretty funny.
I felt like an idiot though because in my tired and freaked out mind I had texted the wrong person.
Haha, that is funny! I've definitely done that before.
My favorite recent texting oops was from H. He was texting me earlier this week, and his phone auto corrected "at least it's a short week" to "at least it's shoe week". Let me tell you, it definitely became shoe week in the mkate household!
One of my coworkers had texted me asking why we hadn't started the video conference yet for a meeting. I responded that we were waiting for the conference room to be free. Then instead of "Be there in a sec" it autofixed to "Be there in a sex."
Oopsie.
And one time I told my dad he was so perfect and wonderful but it was supposed to go to H. At least it wasn't anything more!!!
