Today: taking C to Panera for a breakfast date before we meet up with a friend for a play date. I also need to get some cleaning/chores done.
Saturday: going to convince DH to go paddle boarding on the lake while I take C for a walk and to the play ground. Need to continue making progress on house stuff.
Sunday: church in the morning and then my parents are coming over to celebrate my dad's bday.
I am so ready for this week to be over. I'm working a half day today and I have a therapy appointment this afternoon.
My entire weekend is going to be homework. Next week is finals, but I'm over this term so I think I might try to bust out everything this weekend so I can be done.
Earlier M was on my lap eating Cheerios, and he shoved a handful down my shirt and said "in Mama pocket!" I pulled the front of my shirt out to remove the Cheerios, and Pippin stuck his face in my boobs to eat the Cheerios. I lead such a glamorous life, haha.

amaranth that happens with us too, lol. Spend $100 at the grocery store but nothing to eat! How?
I'm exhausted and feel like crap today. Think I'm catching some sort of cold or something. I'm stuffy and my throat hurts. I even took melatonin last night to try sleeping better. Nope!

Hi guys! Checking in real fast!
We got discharged early and came home last night. Sooo thankful to be home. I'm having a bit of a hard time with recovery, they had a hard time getting him out because he was stuck so they really did a number on me....but I think it's frustrating more than the physical pain. I just want to take care of my baby and it's so hard to be so limited. But luckily DH is awesome and doing so much, my MIL is here helping out and my parents are also on their way back out (I called my mom last night and must have sounded just so sad) I'm going to try and catch up on a few things (like the class I'm teaching and have barely checked in on since Sunday....whoops)
Having this little guy here is so awesome! I miss talking to you guys, can't wait to get back and catch up on all the posts!
HoneySpider , I was thinking this morning that you were likely to be discharged today. I'm glad yall are home already and you've got lots of help! take it easy, and don't stress about everything. let other people take care of you, and you just take care of that baby!!!! your job is to rest, eat and feed the baby.
E started to sign to me last night! yay for expressive language! so exciting. I'm home alone now and need to put the computer up so I can work on some stuff for work.
HoneySpider Been thinking about you! I imagine that is difficult trying to heal from the CD while taking care of the new little guy! But yes, take advantage of ALLTHEHELP! So glad that your hubby is helping out big time! I know you are enjoying all the snuggles! What an amazing adventure! We miss you too! We understand that you have a special person needing you right now as well
I'm currently attempting to make a homemade angel food cake and cupcakes for a Bon fire I'm going to tomorrow. I need to run to the craft store later to get some decorations for the cupcakes. Nothing really planned for the weekend.
Sick. Blahh!! I felt it happening on Tuesday. But yesterday was official I woke up and could barely talk it was like swallowing nails coated in fire. My throat feels better today but I overall feel worse. Hopefully a nice nap and early to bed again tonight will cure me along with all the homeopathic remedies I am doing!
HoneySpider- c/s recovery and newborns are HARD...check, newborns are HARD in and of themselves. I remember with C I was a sobbing mess when they discharged me. The OB was awesome and said that most of the time when we have major surgery everyone is taking care of us and we get to rest and recover. Now I have a newborn who needs me and I am taking care of him. It really helped to put things in perspective. Accept all the help you can get...like pooh8402 said, your job is to rest, recover, and take care of sweet R!
It's been a fun and busy morning! Vacuumed the house, went to breakfast, stopped by TJs real fast for some beer for Sunday, went on our play date, came home for lunch, cleaned a bathroom, and now nap time!

MrsMB - No, but I when I was in high school I loved the soundtrack for Next Friday. I loved one of the songs that had a line "when you don't got a job, every day is Friday!"
HoneySpider - I hope you can get some rest lady! Be sure to take it easy.
Nothing major here. I just got a haircut and am wrapping up some work before the weekend.
pooh8402 - That's awesome! I can't wait to see something like that.
I'm such a Harry Potter geek. I found a lightning bolt charm at the craft store so I had to buy it and a chain. I'm in my pjs but wearing the necklace lol.
@emtmissy - A very nice old man stopped me in the grocery store, pointed at my forearm tattoo, and said, "Doesn't that hurt?" I told him it didn't feel good when I got it, but it doesn't hurt anymore. He smiled and said, "I mean, it's beautiful, but OW!"

I have a tattoo appointment on Friday, and I'm seriously considering getting a small HP one done while I'm there.
