I'm reading Book Thief, trying it for the 2nd time, not super into it, hoping that changes. It's for book club, and I picked it. Tried reading it after DS2 was born and just couldn't.
the new Taylor Jenkins Reid book "One True Loves". Jenkins is one of my favorite authors, but this book is really annoying me!! I have seemed to lost my patience Its ok, Im almost finished and at the point of feeling "THANK GOD!"
Crazy Rich Asians. Which I am having such a hard time getting into! I keep putting it down and getting distracted
Appetite: Why Women Want. So far I am really getting into this, i have an ED background, so am always drawn to anything having to do with EDs as well as sociology and the way people think, feel, act
QOTD: My first language was Polish! I really enjoy being alone. I do not enjoy spending more than 1-2 hours with people at a given time! (Unless its a planned activity, tour, trip,e tc)
I'm reading The Girl from the Savoy by Hazel Gaynor. #82 for the year.
Random Fact: I've never dyed my hair.
Neither have I, unless you count the slight green tinge it developed when I took swimming in college. It looked like copper that was developing a patina, and not in a good way.
I highlight, but growing up we had a pool and at Six Flags someone actually asked if I had them put green in my hair!
...QOTW: I've played the flute for 32 years now. When I was in college (music major), I played in the pit orchestra for a musical and they asked if I played flute and piccolo so I said sure...and proceeded to have to borrow a piccolo from a friend because I had NEVER played one before! I have one now, though, and this weekend is the last weekend for Bye, Bye, Birdie, for which I am playing flute and picc. Hahahaha!
I always had fun with the piccolo! I was never very good at it, though, and it was more noticeable at the higher pitch. Oh, well.
I've been traveling and didn't have as much time to read as I expected.
Just about to finish listening to The Girl in the Spider's Web - the 4th (with a new author) in the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series. I've enjoyed it.
Reading The Light Between Oceans, which is nothing like what I expected but I like it.
About me: I like to garden but my veggies aren't doing very well this summer and I don't know why. Or might be time to give up and spend that time reading.
...Interesting fact? I have been an only child, a youngest, an oldest, and a middle child.
Granted I am tired, but I can't figure this one out. Blended families?
I have a much older half-sister on my dad's side that I never lived with and a younger half-brother on my mom's side. My brother wasn't born until I was a teen so I was essentially an only child growing up.

I just realized that I can say the same. I had an older sister when I was born (youngest) but she moved away with our dad and I never met her or knew about her (became only child). Then I had younger sisters (older). Then she ands I found out about each other and stay in close contact (middle).
I'm reading whatever the second Raven Boy book is. It's entertaining.
Random: I'm related to Samuel Clemmons.
Is it better than the first one?
(Yes, I know I already quoted you on this - lol). I finished and it was much like the first - entertaining enough to keep going, but not as compelling as I like. I planned to read the others, but moved them down the que. BUT I just discovered that Ben is reading a book by the same author and he was SO excited when I told him! He's reading Spirit Animals series, which is a collaboration of authors, and Maggie Stiefvater wrote book two. I'm so proud that he's an avid reader, and apparently has pretty good taste so far (even if he did read all the Captain Underpants books. Twice.)

Who is the author(s) of this? It sounded interested so I went to put it on my to read list but couldn't find it after a super quick search.
I just finished Truly, Madly, Guilty by Liane Moriarty. It was up there with most of her other ones for me. I started Letters from Skye this morning and really like it so far!
I'm really stuck on something interesting about me. Not super interesting, but I started graduate school this week.
