to think that he hired a PR person to come up with that nonsense.
We (almost) couldn't have been less impressed! And I'd say the same about Lauer as well, (internally), "I think this is one of the top three stupidest people I've ever met!" ---- "Top TWO! Top two for sure!!! Is he high..?"
No matter how many ways your PR person told you to slice it, you're still a douche who took the focus off hard working Olympians and the people of Rio for your douchebagery. Then you chose to interview with another douche.
I caught about 90 seconds of it and that was more than enough douchiness for the night (especially when you add Lauer's own douchiness to the mix). The fake crying was so gross. And he's just so stupid. Remember when he tried to trademark the word "Jeah" after the last Olympics? Lol. I feel bad for all other athletes who are presumably getting less air time right now bc of NBC's hard on for this story.

This. I refuse to watch/read anything else about him (exception:GBCN, but I won't click through to give anyone hits on their articles). There are far too many amazing Olympians from around the world whose stories we haven't heard. But we've heard about this dumb dumb's shenanigans about 500 times. Ridiculous.
