How much did your LO weigh at 6 months?

Preferably boy, but you can answer for a girl too.

I don't think DS is *that* small, but according to the charts he is. He's below the 1% for weight, 10% for height and 25% for head. He's followed this same curve since roughly 2 months.

The doctor isn't worried, and I'm not either. I just have small kids I guess. DD only weighed 16 pounds at a year and at 6 months DS weighs 13lbs. 6 oz. So to me those are normal sizes since that's what I'm used to. Do other 6 month olds weigh a lot more??

But they were 7 weeks early. They were never on the charts until 18 mos but on the preemie scale they were doing amazing. Our Dr was never concerned. They followed the curve and he said as long as they stayed consistent that was fine.

He was close to 20lbs. He was 9lbs 6ozs at birth and never lost much weight ( he was 9lbs 4 ozs at discharge.)

See and both DD and DS were 4 weeks early. That's not as significant as 7 weeks early, but it's still early. The odd thing is that even though both were early, they (well DS so far) have hit milestones early and if you account for their adjusted ages they've hit milestones extremely early. Babies are weird!

I remember Hobbes was 8th percentile at 6 mo., but I can't remember exactly what her weight was. It was the 13-14 lb. ballpark though. She was 15 and change at 8 months at a sick visit. Her pedi hasn't expressed concern either, although I've been trying to help her put on weight. At a bare minimum I want to feel like I'm not holding her weight gain back.

Mine was 10 pounds, 2 ounces... not even in the 1%-ile! But he was the size of a 28 weeker when he was born (at 32 weeks).

My 4 month old (full term) baby is like 16 pounds ;-)

DS was 21 lbs. DD was 18 lbs.

DS was 15lb, 13oz, which put him around the 20th percentile at the time. Since then he's been hanging out around the 10th percentile - the doctor isn't concerned as he just seems to be a small kid, which is the complete opposite of how DD grew.

He went from 13 lbs at 5 months to 16 lbs at 6.5 months. They were concerned at 5 months and we worked really hard with solids to increase his weight gain between the two.
