I read this article that this lady said that if the neck hairline of your first kid is straight your next baby will be the same as the first, but if it comes to a point it will be the opposite. If you have multiple kids, was this true for you?
DD had a straight hairline and I had a boy second, so it isn't true for me.
ETA she said it worked 100% for her 4 kids and everyone she knows, so I was curious if it worked for others.
That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I mean, seriously, how can my son's hairline have ANYTHING to do with which sperm makes it to my egg first the next time I get pregnant (if I ever will get pregnant again).

Obviously this is a dumb method. On the other hand, I have discovered that I am a witch.
I'm 5 for 5 on predicting the correct gender with the needle and thread test. I am also really good at witching water and I can drain a brand new watch battery in 9 days if I wear it consistently.
I would have been burned at the stake in olden times.
I'll have to warn DH. DD's neck hairline (?) is ridiculously straight.
But then, so is DH's and his younger sibling is opposite gender, so maybe this hairline thing is more indicative of hereditary genes than predictive sex determination?
I thought that was a Greek thing (looking at the same area but I think it was a different conclusion). My Greek neighbor swears by this but I sort of just side-eyed her when she said it...lol.

It's when you use divining rods (metal sticks) to find sources or paths of water underground. For example, I can locate the pipe that runs from the creek to my Dads heat pump in his house. I can't link it but there's a wiki article.

My old Arab grandma has 1000 different old wives tale gender predictions. Which was the swirl in the scalp goes, which position they cross their feet. The mos annoying is that they throw salt on your head when you are pregnant and without your knowledge and if you scratch your nose or mouth it's a boy and if you scratch your eye or eyebrow it's a girl.
My Filipino MIL holds to this theory but my from-a-different-part-of-the-Philippines FIL has different gender prediction theories. It has held true for my soon-to-be 3 kids thus far. I doubt we'll test it further, lol.
