Specifically in the US or Canada?
I've been dreaming of future vacations and gathering ideas for road trips. Nice thing about living in the middle of the country (coast wise at least) is being able to road trip to quite a few places. We have our passport cards so we can drive into Canada but not fly (we went to Thunder Bay last year). I'm also not opposed to flying somewhere! What's on your US and/or Canada travel list?

The places I've been looking at so far but want to add to my list
-Chicago (been here but H hasn't and I was there for leadership conferences so I didn't really SEE it!) -Colorado (been thinking of a road trip through SD to see Mt Rushmore and other sites along the way) -Arizona -Maine -Oregon/Washington -Toronto area (Niagara Falls included) -UP Michigan (maybe included in a Toronto trip?) -Florida Keys -Alaska
Visiting all 50 states is a big bucket list item for me, so even if it's not super exciting I want to go to any new state I can. BUT, the thing I've been wanting to do for years and haven't been able to is tour New England in the fall. That may be 10 years away at this rate.

Oh, I love New England in the fall! Would love to do that again. We were in Boston in October a few years ago for a friend's wedding and it was glorious, the weather was great.
On my list... San Francisco Seattle & Vancouver (went to Seattle for work once but didn't get to do much while there) Maine in the summer Mt Rushmore Charleston Denver (to go to Coors Field)
DH & I have some travel bucket list places that are sports related....for instance, we want to go to a Duke basketball game
I love going new places so I'll travel just about anywhere, even if it is some tiny little tourist town or whatever
Bucket list: Banff, AB Quebec City, Quebec during the Carnaval de Québec East Coast, USA -- technically we stayed in Maine but not close enough to the coast.
Revisit: Newfoundland (left when I was 2) Halifax, Nova Scotia Stratford, ON for the Stratford Festival
Our plan is to try and repeat our honeymoon road trip one day with more driving (yayy?) so we can see the more of East Coast Canada & USA.
estrellita: I've driven through but not been to Thunder Bay. Wouldn't think of it as a vacation spot! DH & I did TO & Niagara Falls this summer. If you do to the Canadian side, I recommend looking at the Falls at night. The city has lights around them and it's truly beautiful. Also, if you haven't been, I recommend Medieval Times in TO. So much fun! Though it might be better when your LO is old enough to appreciate it.

@opal TB wasn't as exciting as I hoped. I was hoping it would be similar to Duluth but smaller obviously. We did drive around to a waterfall and a few other tourist attractions but I don't think I'd go back for any extended amount of time. We got Tim Hortons though so it was worth it lol
I've been to Niagara Falls before but I was young and H (and E of course) hasn't been there. I was thinking of driving through the Michigan UP into Canada and going that way but we'll see once we actually plan the hypothetical trip!
We want to do am Alaskan cruise. We would also love to do New England. Seattle (it's on my Star.bucks bucket list) and on my 50 states bucket list! Hawaii!!!!! (We are going in June!!!)
I've done a lot of Canada but need to re-do now that I'm older. We want to take a train trip through the Quebec area BC Vancouver! (Went when I was little) My husband hasn't seen any of Canada other than where I grew up, Toronto and Niagara Falls. So he needs to see more!!
I know there are more but we will leave it at this
estrellita, if you ever come to the Niagara Falls area, we have to meet up! I live half an hour away from the Canadian falls
I'd love to go back to NYC someday, because my first trip there was a mess of preteen emotions (@opal was also there witnessing my Clay Aiken-soundtracked humiliation).
New Orleans was amazing, and I'd love to go back there as well.
For places I've never been, California, the Grand Canyon, and Hawaii would all be awesome to visit.
katiek: I forgot NYC! Oh how I want to go to see a Broadway production! I can't believe our teacher was convinced Broadway wasn't an educational venture. :S
I'd like to see Texas, Florida, the Pacific Northwest, Hawaii, Alaska, London, and Costa Rica. It's interesting how so many of you want to see New England in the fall. I lived there for most of my life, and I don't miss it much lol.
@opal I saw Chicago on Broadway my senior year of high school. It was a great experience!

That would have been awesome! Although I can see not wanting to be responsible for five 13 year olds while trying to enjoy Broadway.
