I had to buy this shirt but am hearing that cat and jack (target) shrinks. We might be taking advantage of their return policy if so because it fits perfect right now.
Dd2 is popping her first tooth. I'm hoping this is the explanation for her crappy sleep lately and now that it's semi broken through we can start sttn.

I'm going to see my friend who just miscarried tomorrow so I'm just trying to figure out what I should bring to her. I think I'm going to bake cookies and I'm definitely bringing candy. Just contemplating what to bring for lunch. I need to go to the grocery store but it's absolutely pouring right now so I'm lacking motivation big time.

DD's first bday party is in Saturday and I have literally done nothing to prepare. House is a wreck. No idea what we are eating, where I'm getting a cake, if I'm going to bother with decorating.
At least I got some 1 year pictures of her done today. She's not totally neglected.
DS has his ear tubes surgery tomorrow. Looking forward to that being over with.
And I come home tonight and my dog is limping and vomiting. WTFFFF. I can't catch a break with pets. We've lost a dog and cat in the past 9 months, and the now-limping/vomiting dog has developed thyroid issues in that same window. Why are all of my animals falling apart? (And, selfishly, why do they do it at inconvenient times?!)
I just ripped a bunch of crown molding off the top of my cabinets. It probably took someone a day and cost $1000 to put up but it took me 10 minutes and my bare hands to take down. Very rewarding.
I realized earlier I've lost half of one of my eyebrows. They are pretty blonde and naturally thin at the ends, but on closer inspection today there are only a few hairs left. Wtf.
I'm afraid DS is getting sick. He was out of it tonight and fell asleep early. Monday is the first day of school and I have so much work to do to get ready. I was planning on sending him to daycare tomorrow so I could get some work done. I hope he'll get a good night's sleep and be good as new tomorrow.
DD is so excited for her birthday, it's adorable. She was singing happy birthday to herself all through the grocery store this morning, clutching the cupcakes we bought to celebrate with her daycare friends tomorrow. She attracted so much attention and told everyone who asked she was going to be 2 years old on August 29th. She's such a ham!
Also, I totally balked at spending $20 on 13 pairs of underwear but she's been wearing the same ~20 pairs since she PT'd over 2.5 years ago. I think we'll get our moneys worth.
I want to get something delivered for dinner since DH worked late (he still hasn't left the office) but I'm hesitating because of the $7 delivery fee for anything other than pizza.

I drove past the hospital I had DS in on the way to my OB appointment today. I started thinking about our parents meeting him for the first time. Then I started thinking about how soon we will be there introducing DS to DD and started sobbing. Oh, hormones.
Just cleared out a bunch of our Amazon "registry" with some gift cards. Only things left are books, a double stroller, a dual camera monitor, and a hospital grade thermometer. I almost hope someone asks us for a link lolololol.
DD is up to 3 bottles a day now. The nurses have started to ask us about baby prep at home and in the car.
I'm taking the day off from the hospital tomorrow - my H is going to handle visits. I'm both disappointed and relieved.
And she had another big gain today - she is officially over a pound up from birth weight and has less than a pound to go before she's out of the isolette!
I just checked the consignment sale website and I'm up to $107 after their cut. Freeeeeee money, all for noisy toys that were cluttering my basement and giving me anxiety! Two more days of regular sale and then Sunday is half price day.
MIL passive aggressively asked Dh for gift ideas for ds2's birthday next month, throwing in a dig about us getting rid of so much recently and hoping it wasn't stuff they've given us recently. NOT SORRY.

I just got back from the grocery store. There was a good deal on diapers and I instinctively walked down that aisle before remembering, "Nope, don't need those anymore!"
DS3 was born today! He came at 1030 am, just 11 hours after labor began. 1 push and then I laughed him out due to something funny the doctor said.
Once labor began last night I had to drive myself 1.5 hours to the hospital because I was in the city I work and was delivering somewhere else. I was super nervous about this but it all went fine. I met DH at the hospital and settled in for the night.
It was the most fantastic experience. VBAC#2 was even better than #1 despite not getting everything I wanted. So happy.
No name yet. It's a real struggle this time around.
My inlaws are here. FIL is going fishing with DH tomorrow and MIL is going to wake up with Stella. I am going to sleep glorious sleep until like 7:30 tomorrow. S is still going to daycare in the AM and MIL is going shopping in town. I leave Saturday for Chicago for a work trip and I left DH and my inlaws a huge list to do outside on the patio before I get back. And they will do it all. All the outdoor prep for Stella's party should be complete!
How much bleach would you say you would need on your granite countertops until the poop is gone? All of it? I feel like all of it is the answer. Wtf, DD? You haven't pooped after a bath in months!
@this you could do what my sister is doing with her frenchie that has been on crate rest. They put her in a pack n play (with the upper piece in so she's high up and isn't tempted to jump. Then they can wheel her around and she can be near them and they can pet her easily.
