Congratulations! I never had 2u2 but my first was a surprise. I ran into my best friend on the street and had a breakdown. So there's no wrong way to handle it.
Congrats! My three oldest are each 14 months apart. It was crazy but fun when they were younger. It is very different having DD3 since I enjoyed her being a baby more than the others. Now that my kids are older it is awesome. They are really close and enjoy playing together. At school they are never alone and keep an eye out for each other. My husband and his brother are also 14 months apart and still best friends. You can do it!
My girls are 14 months apart and DD2 was a huge surprise. It's okay to not get excited right away. I spent most of my pregnancy so worried and scared about how hard it was going to be. It was hard for a while but they are 14 and 28 months now and it is sooo much fun!
Congratulations! my two are 14.5 months apart. I was completely scared when I got my BFP with our second. I was sure we were ruining our first's life by having a sibling so close. I did not really come to terms with it and start feeling positive thoughts until 9-ish weeks. I saw a therapist a coupe times as well.
We had always planned on two, but not this close together! Our baby will be two in October and I can't imagine our life without her. There have been some hard times, but it's been amazing, too. They are great playmates and watching their little friendship grow melts me on the regular. They also drive each other nuts, but I'm sure that would happen at any age gap.

Congratulations!!
I am due a month from today with DS2. They will be about 21 months apart. We were TTC but it happened much faster this time (easier to get pregnant and no losses). I have been much more scared than excited this pregnancy and have finally accepted that I won't ever fully be ready for 2u2 but that we will get through it (C was colicky and super hard his first 4- 6 months).
I think whatever you are feeling is normal. Also, no way I could wait to tell DH...i have been pregnant 4 times now and have never been able to let the stock dry before tell him (first pregnancy was while he was at work and over the phone).
How far apart would the kids be? Mine are 13 months (actually, a year and 5 weeks, to the day). It is doable.
About 18 months. Which actually is what my brother and I are and my Mom survived
My youngest two are 18 months, it's by far my favorite age gap (also have 3 years and 2 years gap with my others) dd4 was a surprise so it wasn't planned and I cried and cried when I found out, but seriously it's awesome, they love each other so much I can't even stand it sometimes. Dd3 is the first thing dd4 asks for almost every morning and dd3 just adores 'her baby'. If I knew how to post videos or share my favorite from when dd4 was about 4 months old and dd3 was holding her and would not let me take her back "don't take my baby, she's mine, my baby". Sending good thoughts your way- you got this!
