It's open enrollment for insurance. I need to look everything over. All I know so far is if we got dental, vision, and the standard ppo plan we want it will cost $750 a month. we usually don't get vision so at least that would save a little money? Ugh, insurance.
Insurance is so helpful, and so annoying too. I feel your pain. I think our enrollment is in October so I'll have to crunch the numbers again then. We always assume we won't have any medical bills, but of course we always do. Lol. This year I want to plan better.
I swear my period is about to start, but I've been saying that for days. I am so over it already. Cramping, sore muscles, and oh the headaches. I can't even bend over because of the head pain. I'll probably take a pregnancy test in a few days if period doesn't show up. I can't fathom that being possible, but it would help my over active imagination ease up.
amaranth I hope it shows up and you get some relief.
I just pulled a double batch of banana muffins out of the oven. I'm tired this morning but it's good knocking things off my to do list. Meeting my mom and grandma at the mall in 45 minutes. G has been running laps in the house since she woke up so I need to run some energy out of her.
I'm just waking up, (only 8am here, and I worked until 12:30 this am.) I am packed and all ready to drive home, but I don't want to get out of bed. Lol.
I do want to see dh and our pup though so I will get out of bed.
I've been having a bit of a pity party for myself which is trying my patience. I know there's so much to be grateful for and I'm annoyed that I can't just move on.
I've got some appointments today then I'll return to cleaning, making my job application, & perhaps make some muffins.

If anyone baking wants to send some things my way, I wouldn't object
Speaking of baking, I should make the zucchini bread and breakfast casserole I was going to make. I'm not sure if the zucchini is still good though..hmm.
Today is our Wedding Anniversary and boy am I glad we celebrated over the weekend! I'm slowly getting over this nasty Sinus infection. I'm feeling better so I'm about to get ready for my bi-annual jewelry check.
amaranth- Prayers AF shows up soon and/or the pregnancy test is negative. ((Hugs))
I am blitzed today. Went for an hour walk in the park before taking C to My Gym. Just did lunch and now it's nap time. Hope he takes a decent one so I get a good nap in as we'll!
It's going to be hot again this week...so ready for summer to be over and fall to be here. It was 78 in our house last night (which normally would be fine) and I was sweating and feeling a little too hot for my liking.
I'm home my pup was so excited. I am now laying done for a nap. The dogs laying on my side of the bed on the floor because his bed is on DHs side of the bed and that's too far from me.
I worked earlier today. Now just catching up on Bachelor in Paradise lol!
I have to get my training materials ready for tomorrow night when I am training a new girl! P
My current job is in transition so my next few weeks aren't planned very well which is kind of causing me some stress but I'm hoping it clears up by the end of the week, at least getting a plan in place!

I finally bought new pillows last night, I hated the ones we got last year because they seemed to go flat pretty quickly. The new ones are super plush, almost too thick! But I figure they will flatten a bit and then be perfect. I did sleep pretty well last night, but no idea if that had anything to do with the pillows.
Just finished my fantasy football draft. I think I did terribly. I asked H to find me a cheat sheet and he found me one that was completelu not user friendly. I was also fighting off my DS as he climbed all over me so it was nearly impossible to figure out who to draft. Oh well.
I don't even want to think about insurance. I'm super bitter about our $10,000 family deductible and that's for the most expensive insurance option. 😡

melsamoony that money workbook you suggested yesterday - would you recommend getting the book too or just the workbook? And do we get a workbook for each of us or is it designed for both of us to use the same one?
H has a second interview tomorrow It's at a large retail chain store that we frequent so I'm hoping he gets it for the discount! Haha. It would be a morning stock position and it sounds like they are totally fine with it only being a few hours a day. It's also seasonal, but I think that's fine.

estrellita I would get the book and the workbook. I think 1 workbook is fine. When H and I have done workbooks that require you both to write in the same area qe just use a separate sheet of paper.
estrellita I worked that shift at what I'm assuming is the same retail chain. I liked it because it didn't involve customers. Show up, do it, leave. Good luck to your H!
I go here All. The. Time. Haha. I used to work at this same place, just the other location in town, as seasonal sales floor like 10 years ago. Not the worst job ever. I also did stock when I worked at Express and LOVED that because I got to be in the back the whole time! It was so nice to not deal with customers The shift he applied for is technically 6AM-1PM but they seemed just fine with him wanting to work like 6-9AM instead. His full time job is ok with him working like 9:30-6 or something. It does suck because we will have to drive separately and he won't be home until later, but IMO it's worth the extra money right now. He's hoping to get his CC paid off and start putting that extra money towards other stuff. I'm hoping this new motivation sticks!
bk1 - Insurance is so ridiculous. Part of my job is to explain our benefits options to all of the new hires and help them complete the enrollment process, and it's always a nightmare because health insurance is crazy and trying to explain it feels impossible. I've gone through the process with four groups of new hires in the past week and I'm so tired of talking about insurance. Too bad I'm scheduled to meet with another group on Thursday. lol.
