This is for a wedding that isn't until June, but I need to go try on dresses sooner rather than later because want to try them on before I have a enormo belly.
I'll be 3.5 months post-partum at this wedding, so I'm thinking let's just go with the milk-filled bewbs as the main attraction and minimize the squishy belly as much as possible. I like my shoulders and arms and am generally ok with sleeveless, but i'm not sure if that'll work with milk bewbs. I'm long waisted and sorta pearish, but I'm thinking the belly is going to be my biggest concern at that point.
I'd go with 451, 452 or 453. Or 459 which at least has two straps. These seem most forgiving on the stomach, but not sure if you need more coverage up top for boobs and massive nursing bras and pads.
right...nursing bras and pads. Well shit, I didn't even think about that.
do I need to be wearing a nursing bra? If i have to nurse I'm going to be hiding in my hotel room and probably unzipping my dress anyway - I can just get halfnaked. Do they serve a specific purpose beyond easy access?

Not really, as long as you have one that's supportive enough. But, it's not always easy to just pull a boob out of a regular bra to nurse (when I do it, I end up spraying all over the place, sorry that's kind of TMI), so you might have to take your bra off entirely. It can be kind of a pain so nursing bras can make it easier. But nursing bras are not exactly great for formalwear.
Id go wtihy one you can wear a regular bra with honestly. Much more comfortable, and milk-filled-boobs can get sore and tender etc when engorged (which they might). Plus easier to deal wtih to pump or nurse - rather than having to take the bra completely off. And avoiding needing to buy a new bra anyhow )aka the strapless you have will likely not fit).
The blue one above looks awesome honestly. Good coverage and normal-bra-friendly, and the waistband and ruching looks post-partum belly friendly.
You won't need to wear a nursing bra if you don't want to. However, my boobs can change size dramatically (even at 5 months pp) based on how full my boobs are so I would still get straps.
I fear the first two might make me look like I'm still pregnant. I definitely want to be kind to my mushy stomach, but I feel like something that starts flowing that high up will just make me look like I still have a baby in there.
Thoughts on that?
I'm going to be trying these dresses on now, so I do have a bump, and will have ot use my imagination to pretend that it's a similarly sized squishy belly.
and to be clear - I don't want to minimize the boobs. I'm going to be self-concious as shit because all the other bridesmaids are skinny and hot and I'm going to be squishy and milky and fat. If boobs are what I've got, I'm gonna work 'em. (this may make me trashy. Don't care.)

Look at lily padz silicone nursing pads too. They "seal" you up so you don't leak instead of just absorbing when you do. I like them for special occasions etc.
I'd go with 371. I think that would look smashing on you. Also, if you go up in a bra size to something to something ridiculous like I did (34G) then, you need a good bra. Trying to work with a regular bra and my nursing boobs just didn't cut it.
It is a soft cup bra, but works well for sleeping and general wear. I bought my bras from here after HATING all the other bras I tried on. The other thing about the Bella Materna Bralet is that is perfect for a dress with a plunging neckline (like 371). And the bras are not ugly. Honestly, I wish they had regular bras because I'd just shop with them. Seriously, that is how much I love this Boutique. Just trust me. You will not be disappointed.
