You'll never guess what? I'm dressed like a girl today lol. My shirt is a little big though. Out of habit I bought an xxl shirt instead of an l/xl. I'm even wearing wedge sandals.
H and I are going to a few wineries then to our boss's for a bbq. His version of a bbq is having a bbq truck cater it and also has an Italian ice food truck there. My diet may be out the window today. He's also making sangria. The weather is beautiful so it should be a good day. I need a stress free day.
We are having an easy day at home. DH and G had a small tumble last night. DH was holding G and fell down the front porch step. He landed on his knees and scratched them up pretty good. Large area of skin missing. G has a little road rash on her face. She looks like she was in baby fight club. Her eye is a little swollen shut. She's in a great mood and not bothered by it at all. So we are all taking it easy today.
@emtmissy Your day sounds so fun!! bk1 Glad everyone is okay!
It's my day off! YES!! Desperately needed. I had a really healthy and filling breakfast just finishing up my coffee while watching Jurassic Park. I am going to take a bath, give myself a much needed pedicure, already loaded the dishwasher, must fold laundry, and tidy the place up, make dinner (we are having crockpot chili) make cookies for thr staff for today to bring tomorrow.! I have a busy yet relaxing day
Scary bk1, so glad they're okay, minus scrapes and bruises.
@emtmissy, have fun!
E and I went to the church child center because I was volunteering in the "wobblers" room this morning. My parents hung out with DH at home. They're gone now, E is napping, I'm eating lunch, and we're relaxing while the house is quiet. Meal planning amd grocery shopping later, and a neighbor boy is going to mow our yard *fist pump*.
We're going to ILs today for lunch. No real plans other than that. We do need a few things at Target that we didn't get yesterday so we might stop there later too.
We're babysitting an 8 month old today and it's so stressful. I don't know how people with twins do it, or daycares! There is non stop crying between 1 or more of the three kids. I can't figure out how to get the other little boy to sleep. Man, 5:00 can not come soon enough.
I signed up to do a yoga for anxiety class next weekend. Ironically, I'm really anxious about it. lol. I haven't been to a yoga class since I was in high school. Do I need to buy a mat to bring with me? I have no idea how this works...
I'm sorry katespade, I use the ones that my gym has. But I've been thinking of getting one, but I need to get back into going to the gym first. (It's been 2-3 months since I've gone.)
estrellita - Oh sweet! Amazon has some that are really cheap ($12), but have mixed reviews. I'll just swing by Target sometime this week and pick one up!
Did you guys know that September is national yoga month? At least, according to Amazon it is. lol.
estrellita - They are crazy expensive! The studio I'm going to is offering a free pass to my first class, which is awesome. They also offer a student discount, but even that is $8 per class (regular price is $12 per class).
Maybe I'm just cheap, but that seems like a lot of money.
katespade I bought a cheap one from Walmart. Works fine but I wonder if a "nicer" one would be bigger since I'm tall. I very, very rarely do any sort of yoga though so cheap works for me!
Hi! We had the best day, taking DS to a fun breakfast, two different parks, and a pony ride. We're now on a six-hour drive home and praying that timing it with bed time was the right decision!
Also katespade I completely feel you on the anxiety-inducing anti-anxiety activities! It would be funny if it wasn't so stressful. I hope you end up having a wonderful and peaceful time.
After church, DH, L and I fixed lunch then snuggled on the couch. We all napped! I've been folding laundry. DH is watching L whole I pick up a prescription.

We had a good day despite C being sick (he has hardly ever been sick and has somehow managed a cold twice since our move a month ago). I really hope I do not catch it but it seems pretty imminent since I already feel more tired and "off".
Missed church but went on a nice long walk instead. After nap we went to a sandwich and brew place and ran a few errands. DH and I just watched the sunset and now I am hanging out here a little before reading and going to bed.
