I'm looking forward to seeing it!
Whenever I think of that event I think of one of my patients at work who had heard the news and said "oh my gosh....I hope no one got wet!". Yea, hopefully everyone is alive too, lady!
But it was really cold that day which is what she meant

Im looking forward to seeing it. I always wanted to bring up this incident when i was a flight attendant and id get attitude from passengers when i asked them to put up the tray table or have seats in upright positions at the start of a flight. Its not for shits and giggles, its because most emergency landings occur in the first 15 minutes of flight! Sully was great, and i further respect him for speaking out about the terrible wages and working conditions pilots face.
I fly a great deal over water so I was totally getting into the sounds that accompany take-off. I was also so amazed at how calm the pilot and co-pilot were, as well as the flight attendants. If the staff remains calm, so do the passengers.

All the plane crashes where I've heard about survivors were either right around take off or landing.
