I went to Target last night. They had snow suits out. No wonder I couldn't find them in December when I needed them. Apparently they must be purchased in September. When the high is supposed to be 93
My brother and SIL are having a joint bday party for my niece (4) and nephew (1) on Saturday and My SIL asked if I could bring an app. The party is at their house at 3 and they live 2 hours away . I have no idea what to bring.
My cat woke us up meowing almost every hour last night. I think she's getting senile and forgets where she is, because I would say come here, and she'd come running to curl up on the bed with me. Come on now, my kids are finally sleeping somewhat decently at night and know the cat starts up?

I've had stress headaches and neck pain for 2 days now because of my new employee. Yesterday I had to throw out a lot of food because she messed it up, we're talking the equivalent of over $300 in sales. When I talked to her about it, she turned the blame on me and my Sous, saying that we were right there when she was making it and didn't say anything was wrong. Huh, I didn't know I'd have to babysit you to make sure you are doing your job! I have another working interview today, hopefully it goes well.
I was doing my laundry last night. I discovered a trend in my clothes. Pretty much every pair of pants has grubby fingerprints on the knees and nearly every shirt has drool or spitup on the left shoulder.
Amelia woke up at 6...not her normal time. She was so happy but very loud. So I took her for a walk and now we're sitting by the beach until more people are awake at the house. At least the view is good.

We made the trip all in one day and W was a trooper despite fighting both a head and chest cold. Can I tell you how much I love HOV lanes! They seriously shaved 30-45 minutes off of our travel time and we made an earlier ferry. W didn't get to bed until 11 last night because dummy here was using her fitbit as a watch and it didn't sync to the new time zone and I was too tired to realize that I actually knew what time it was when we arrived at the house. Oh well, it's not like we have anywhere to be except the beach. I think I'll go back to sleep until DH gets up and finds me some coffee.

I really am not feeling well. My throat is on fire, I have a fever, and I have a terrible earache. I called my doctor, but they have no openings today. I could go to urgent care, but it's so expensive compared to my PCP. Today is the only day I'd have time to go without taking any kids with me, though. Ugh.
This was my life when I was pregnant. I worked until four days before DD was born. My job required me to travel all over the city (from my home in Brooklyn) to visit our 7 stores, at peak commuting hours. I averaged 4 stores a day towards the end. For my entire 9 month pregnancy, I could count on one hand the amount of times someone offered me their seat- and I'm fairly certain every one of them was a woman. I would intentionally shove my HUGE belly into the face of the men sitting down while I stood in front of them. LOL!
I smartly bought waters before coming up to my hotel room. I signed the receipt in time format and was heckled.
I am now drinking the water.
Did I tell you we got kicked out of a uber at 7:30 this morning, yesterday/morning, on the way to the airport? I can't remember who I told.
Lol, why were you kicked out of an uber?!
Apparently Uber is not allowed at one of our local airports. However, the driver told my coworker to ride in the front and that he would take his uber sticker off the window. Cool. My coworker and I chat about work politics and stuff the ride there. He pulls into the lot where we think he's switching the sticker and tells us to get out. We were like huh? "it's a half mile, get out.". He told us he didn't trust us, that our conversations made him uncomfortable and that if something happened he didn't think we would have his back. We got out kind of stunned and just cracked up after he drove off. Then we hauled our luggage the rest of the way.
There was a big to-do here at our local airport as well with whether or not Uber and Lyft were allowed to go to the airport. I think at last check, they were not able to - due to some issue with some tax or something that taxis pay but not Uber/Lyft?
I'm sorry jamaicam - that is really rough! Especially since he is gone 7 days a week. You can whine whenever you want! That sounds so stressful - being 100% responsible for both plus holding down a full time job I know he's working, but you deserve a vacation after this!!
Complain all you want jamaicam! My DH has been gone since Saturday and I can't wait until he gets home this Saturday. It's exhausting dealing with 2 kids, trying to at least show up at work, and otherwise keep the household running. Though...it is easier for me to keep things cleaned up at home when he's not around, lol. Can you pay someone else to drop A off at school a few mornings a week? Then maybe you can have some mornings with A and some mornings with J?

After X's non-stop coughing fit Tuesday night where he couldn't breathe, I was thankful when he climbed into my bed MOTN last night so I could better listen to his breathing.
G has her 2nd piano lesson this afternoon! I'm pretty sure I'm more excited about these lessons than she is thus far.
I'm really worried about A. He is 17m and is losing words that he used to have- doggie, car, mama. His only word right now is uh oh I have an EI intake call in a few weeks

I'm sorry you're worrying . I hope it's just a weird developmental phase and that he catches up again very soon.
