I know a lot of people who think the yeti drink holders are super cool. I like them myself because they keep cold drinks cold all day and hot drinks hot for the whole day too.
But they are ridiculously priced.
If you were given one as an employee gift, would you like it? All the people I know that like them are white people and I don't know if this is a Texas thing like camo bluebell ice cream, or something that a lot of people would find useful and different.
We have given out all kinds of bags, umbrellas, and other things but one of the most popular items was a cooler at one point. And many of our employees cannot afford a yeti branded item, although honestly I would probably go with RTIC because they are just as good and half the price.

My H got one from his work and he uses it every day. I would never buy one because we have a lot of other drink holders, but it has been a useful giveaway.
I had ice in my water for over two days in one of these. I cannot pour my coffee straight into them because two hours later it is still too hot for me to drink. They are super insulated.
DH got one from a vendor last year at the holidays and used it so much that we bought the larger sized Yetis for ourselves. I think it's a good company gift.

I have the Walmart Ozark Trail one. So far, I've decided I like how cold it keeps my tea, but the metal straw is too cold. I couldn't hold on to the one I have with one hand, so I bought a handle on Amazon for $12, $2 more than I paid for the cup. There was a giant end cap of them in sporting goods in my Walmart.
I picked ss bc I bought mine as a gift to me for kicking Coke Zero and drinking lots of water before I knew it was cool. I adore it! But I would buy a cheaper one that's just as effective if I as buying now
I just bought a rtic bottle to use to carry ice from our lunch stop to evening campsite on our bike trip...and had to REALLY restrain myself from getting a tumbler too, so yes, awesome.
I use my RTIC one every single day. I got it at Buc-ees . I have bought the Ozark ones & they work just as well. I wouldn't spend the $ on a YETI. I also make & sell monograms & decals for these cups.
I have seriously never seen these "in the wild", I have to assume they're not popular here. Our contigos and other stainless cups keep ice ice well into the next day, too, though- I don't think that's a super special quality.
I think yetis were invented by a guy that lives in Northwest Houston so they may not have a national presence quite yet.
I commented about the redneck thing in my poll because you will see big ass gas guzzling trucks with yeti window decals. (My husband and his friends may or may not be included in this category and I have already shared that my husband has a camo Houston Texans flag…so...) I also associate bucees with redneck stereotypes because they sell a lot of overly blinged leather goods, beef jerkys , and a lot of camo stuff. And these kind of tumblers are very popular there, although it is the RTIC brand. (But bucees has a lot for non rednecks and has the cleanest bathrooms so I am not throwing shade at them... Just acknowledging their popularity with the rednecks.)
