I am training new people all week!!! (Can't wait until they are all done so I receive my bonus, hello clothes shopping!!!) Coffee meeting with my partner Pay day Maybe lunch with my mentor (still waiting on my full schedule for the week)
I have my OB appointment tomorrow with an US to check on baby- DH is going so that'll be fun since he's only been able to go to 2 other appointments.
I'm taking my sewing 101 class on Thursday! I'm SO excited!!
I'll likely have my work baby shower at the end of this week, they just need to finalize a date. I wasn't expecting any showers this time so I'm excited to celebrate DS2 and see my coworkers.
I normally would go to my parents' this weekend but they're leaving for vacation. It'll be a long weekend wrangling W by myself.

Tons of stuff to do work-wise, not as much personal stuff, so hoping that means I can get a lot of work done!
Tomorrow DS has a pedi appt and I have an eye doctor appt. Otherwise, nothing! This is the first Sat in a while that we have nothing to do - I cannot wait to relax and watch college football and not do anything else unless I want to!
T - OB appointment, might get a pedicure done before
Th - story time
Sa - 1st birthday party for cousin's kid, DH and FIL will be working in the shop, maybe date night? There is a free all day concert with fireworks in the evening so might try to get my mom to watch G so DH and I can go late. Playing it by ear.
Rest of the week just need to do housework, grocery shop, that kind of stuff.
I'm working a lot. 3 shifts, plus renewing my newborn resuscitation certification. I'll be in overtime, woohoo! Possibly volunteering at a car seat checkup event on Saturday, but DH doesn't want me to go (he wants the morning free from baby duty). We'll see.

Carseat question for you. I know rear facing is recommended until 2 years old. My daughter is 19 months and tall. Her legs are getting bunched up and hit the back of the seat. Is it okay to keep her rear facing or do I have to turn her?

I know you didn't ask me, but I'd keep rear facing until the height/weight limit for the seat.

It is absolutely okay. Kids have very flexible joints and are comfortable in positions that we wouldn't dream of. And while it's possible to break legs while rear facing, it's highly unlikely. And I would prefer broken legs over a broken neck every day and twice on Sundays. A study in 2007 even showed that children are more likely to break legs while forward facing, from hitting seat backs.
Agree that it is safest to keep kids rear facing until the limits of their seat, but 2 years old is now the recommended minimum age to flip, due to their necks getting stronger as they get older.

No plans this week! H works a couple days including Sat. His friend was thinking of coming up to visit this weekend so we'll see what happens. We need to catch up on laundry and cleaning!
No real plans this week. Work as usual. Then my usual Friday morning grocery shopping. There is another parade Saturday but I think I may just stay home or see if H wants me to go to work with him.

Today - Therapy and CLEP exam, both of which went very well. Tuesday - New Hire Orientation, which means a crazy day at work. Wednesday - Work. Thursday - Work. Friday - Work, then a tattoo appointment to finish up my half sleeve. Saturday/Sunday - No plans at all, and I couldn't be happier. I'm ready for a break.

Gah! You just reminded me that my NRP expires at the end of October. I guess I'll have to schedule something during maternity leave. Doing all of those tests with a newborn is not ideal...
Hello! We had a terrifying start to the week when daycare called the ambulance to take DS to the ER because he was under water for a bit. Fortunately he is totally fine, but it was so horrible waiting to meet the ambulance.
Also, went to the RE today and we are doing IUI this month! I'm so nervous!

Oh man, that sucks! Glad I was able to remind you!
I got a reminder from our hospital educator about 2 weeks from E's due date that my BLS was to expire at the end of the month. After a few emails back and forth and a few hours on the computer, he tested me himself on my skills portion about a week before E was born. That was fun. /sarcasm

krystee- sorry, I liked for the IUI this month. So sorry to hear about J...i cannot imagine how scary that was for you and I am so glad he is ok. Good luck with your IUI!!
Busy week at work. We had orientation yesterday. Today, I've been doing tons of project work. Tomorrow I'm at a job fair (ew....please remember to pack the hand sanitizer!) Thursday, I sit in on interviews. Friday, groceries after work. Saturday, big fundraiser for my friend's (the husband has ALS) then DH's uncle comes down. I WISH WISH WISH DH had remembered that I asked for no guests until after October 1st. September is super busy. Sigh. Since this was the second time he's done this, I threatened to put up a "Family Calendar." I'm pretty sure I'll do it
OMG krystee !!! That is SO SCARY! I'm glad he's OK!!! Good luck with the IUI!!!
