Still reading Children of the Frost, and This is How You Die: Stories of the Inscrutable, Infallible, Inescapable Machine of Death -- this installment is a lot darker than the first one, and has some new and interesting settings, but I've hit a really long story where I hate the writing style and it's irritating me, so I kind of haven't been reading anything for the past few days.
QOTW: I usually read my own book, or play games on my phone. I really hate Sudoku, and I tend to only do crosswords when participating in puzzle events (like this).
Truly Madly Guilty - I like it, as I have said, I like her writing style. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - I am not thrilled with the screenplay format, enough that I almost chose not to read it, but I enjoyed the story. At the Water's Edge - a quick, easy read.
QOTW: I do not do the puzzles in the magazine, but I used my in seat screen to play a silly amount of solitaire on my last flight, interspersed with reading and napping.
I finished Crazy Rich Asians - I did not really care for it.
Just started The Girl With All the Gifts.
QOTW: I sleep, read or watch movies when flying, usually.
This makes me feel better bc I gave up on Crazy rich Asians. I was worried I was missing out bc of a lot of great reviews, but just was not into it
In my opinion, you did not miss anything by quitting! I thought for sure there was going to be something great about the last half of the book but, nope. I really can't think of a single thing I liked about the book. I'm also not exactly sure why I finished it- luckily I didn't waste too much time on it!
On Friday, I finished The Graveyard by Neil Gaiman. Excellent audio book. Planning to pick up another one of his the next time I'm at the library.
Couldn't make myself listen to any more of The Time Traveler's Wife over the weekend. But I have to plant in the garden every day after work this week, so I'll give it another go. Nothing like having no other listening options!
Fairy tales do not tell children the dragons exist. Children already know that dragons exist. Fairy tales tell children the dragons can be killed. - G. K. Chesterton

Oh, I just loved The Graveyard Book! Such a charming story.
I am very slowly reading Into the Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes and just as slowly listening to First Women: The Grace and Power of America's Modern First Ladies by Kate Andersen Brower.
Both are good, just having trouble getting into a good rhythm.
