I finished another Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused light. I bought Luminous to try something different, but will be exchanging it for Diffused again.

I also used up my Oribe supershine moisturizing cream and already repurchased. I think I also used up some skincare but can't remember exactly what.

Oh! Also used up my Cover Girl Clump Crusher mascara and opened a new one. And the L'Oreal True Match Lumi Cushion foundation. I'm very close to finishing my NARS Sex Appeal blush too.

No make-up empties. I have been loving the skincare items I bought from Colleen Rothschild this month.

No empties (though I'm starting to hit the pan on NARS Orgasm blush), but I got two Urban Decay Afterglow blushes at the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Sale (basically for free thanks to all the points I had built up) and I love them. I got Obsessed (light pink) and Fetish (pink-ish nude).

My HGs: Origins GinZing Moisturizer, Elf lip Exfoliators, Biore Sunscreen and CosRX patches. 
I also really liked the Mario Badescu Rose spray, YSL Touché Éclat, Origins Night-a-mins and the DE Framboos. The rest was meh, nothing special.

LP PHD dry shampoo- will repurchase after I use up the other 2 bottles of random dry shampoo in the closet
Badger Body Butter- will not repurchase, lots of other body butters to use.
Fresh Soy Face cleanser (travel size? Deluxe size?)- will not repurchase. Not a fan of the smell.
NYX shadow in mink brown- will not repurchase: too many comparable shadows. BTW- this is the 3rd shadow that I have ever used up. Ever. I'm very proud of myself.


The Makeup Use Up Challange has really inspired me to clear out other stuff, as well as stuff on my list. I've been more vigilant about looking through my samples and using some every week.

September was an interesting month for me. Since I'm working for the first time in years and wearing makeup on a daily basis, I challenged myself to really use as many different palettes/blushes/lip colors as possible. It's re-piqued my makeup interest.

Empties:

Clinique All About Eyes: I will not repurchase. It isn't particularly effective, especially at the price point. I may consider one of the more emollient products in the line. I used to buy a Prescriptive eye cream that was lovely.

Boots No 7 Youthful Eye Serum: A surprisingly good eye cream similar to the Olay Regenerist line eye serum. Have already replaced at Ulta where it was "buy one, get one 40% off".

Benefit They're Real Mascara: I will repurchase at some point, but I am currently using some Laura Geller I got in a kit.
