I have read a lot this month! Now I'm only 7 books behind my goal for the year.
1. Fool Moon by Jim Butcher 5* 2. Grave Peril by Jim Butcher 5* 3. Troublemaker by Leah Remini 4* 4. Summer Knight by Jim Butcher 5* 5. Death Masks by Jim Butcher 5* 6. Kitchen Princess Omnibus 1 by Natsumi Ando 5* 7. Kitchen Princess Omnibus 2 by Natsumi Ando 5* 8. Kitchen Princess Omnibus 3 by Natsumi Ando 5* 9. Kitchen Princess Omnibus 4 by Natsumi Ando 5* 10. The Negotiator by Dee Henderson 3*
The Book Thief. *** The Nightingale ***** The Bourbon Kings *** (This one was a bit predictable, some of the language of the writing was ackward and because it's a series left you hanging, but I am looking forward to reading the next one. It's like reality TV you can't stop watching).
I read 14 books so I'll just list my top 5 (no particular order, I gave them all four stars):
A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir Girl at War by Sara Novic It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover When Beauty Tamed the Beast by Eloisa James Any Duchess Will Do by Tessa Dare
I also read and recommended (despite 3 star rating): Dead Wake by Erik Larson
Their Fractured Light by Amie Kaufman *** All American Boys by Jason Reynolds ***** Hamilton: The Revolution **** It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover **** Midnight Rescue by Elle Kennedy *** First Grave on the Right by Darynda Jone **** In Bed With a Highlander by Maya Banks **** Seduction of a Highland Lass by Maya Banks ****
It was a little slower this month, but I'm cool with it. Nothing has really struck me in the last few weeks. I've been rereading and watching A LOT of Grey's Anatomy.

I had a pretty good reading month in September and I'm currently 5 books ahead of my goal of 52 books for the year.
Bird Box by Josh Malerman **** After You by Jojo Moyes *** Slim by Design by Brian Wansink ** Quidditch Through the Ages by Kennilworthy Whisp (J.K. Rowling) ***** How to be an American Housewife by Margaret Dilloway *** Between the World and Me by Ta-Nahisi Coates *** Fates and Furies by Lauren Groff **
Very mediocre reading last month, minus the lovely exceptions of Hamilton and Louise Penny (who is so consistently good, it's hard to believe).
We Are Unprepared by Meg Little Reilly 2* The Masked City Genevieve Cogman 2* Ashes of Fiery Weather by Kathleen Donohoe 3* Hamilton: The Revolution 5* The Hopefuls by Jennifer Close 3* The Sound and the Furry by Spencer Quinn 3* The Great Reckoning by Louise Penny 5* The Lost Girls by Heather Young 3*
My new job is kicking my butt. I hardly have any time to read anymore.
Letters from Skye by Jessica Brockmole 5* One Plus One by Jojo Moyes 2* A Desperate Fortune by Susanna Kearsley 4* If I Could Turn Back Time by Beth Harbison 3*
