YAY!! Everywhere I go, people say they like my (bright orange) "Vote No" shirt if I'm wearing it, ask me how I got it, where they can get one, etc. There are a few churches near me with big Vote No signs. I dont think I"ve actually seen a "yes" sign yet!
There's a church on Capitol Hill in Seattle that, for the last couple years anyways, has had a rainbow banner hanging from the front saying we welcome all and want you here.
Nice! I also see way more Vote No signs than Yes signs. And I saw very few Vote Yes people at the fair - and the ones I did see were mostly young women. But the guy I talked to at the Vote No booth at the fair said that if the election were held that day, that they would lose. I think the Vote No people might just be more vocal
eta: and speaking of, right before I read this post, I finally figured out how to add an avatar pic and it's very fitting for this thread
I can't help but think the future generations are going to look back at us and think we are such morons that we actually had votes and stuff on peoples rights to marry, like it wasn't just totally obvious.
I feel like we're trying to abolish slavery or something, for gods sake just fucking do it already!
apalettepassion.wordpress.com/ WHO IS BONQUIQUI!?!?!?!??!

I imagine if we left the oasis of the Twin Cities, we'd see a lot of them.
I know. It scares me. I always forget how, er, different it is out there in farmville.
