We're headed to Pullman for a WSU football game Saturday night...really hoping we won't be getting drenched in the stands. And really, really hoping a tree doesn't fall on our house (in PDX) while we're gone.

I can't read this without hearing Cliff Mass' voice
DD's 5th grade is at camp on Bainbridge - glad they're coming home tomorrow early afternoon. But I'm wondering if the soccer games/practices we have Thursday/Friday/Saturday will be cancelled.
georgeharrison be sure to check your flight on Saturday and maybe have a backup plan. The worst is supposed to be on Saturday

Perfect! My c-sec is scheduled for Tuesday, but none of my kids have waited for their scheduled dates. And this combined with a full moon on Sunday just increases the likelihood that this kiddo would come at the "best" time, lol.
I'm in Eastern WA, but travel to the west side for medical care.

Yeah, I am going to charge up the portable DVD player and ever other electronics in the house. H says he is coming home early to prep the yard and house. Clean the gutters. Fun times.
Wow, he's comparing it to the Columbus Day storm from the '60s? That's pretty significant, and I suspect it's totally going to screw up my plans for my belated birthday dinner this weekend. Boo!
Oh well, at least we have our generator. Now I just need to go to the grocery store for milk and ice cream, you know, important storm provisions.
Oh man, I'm headed to Seattle next Tuesday for work. Hopefully things won't be that bad and the city will be back up and running by then. This storm looks like a doozy.

I live just east of Pullman. They're calling for rain all weekend in the area. Good luck!

We're supposed to go to Wild Waves for a friend's kid's birthday party on Saturday. I'm sad for the kiddo that his party is probably going to get cancelled, but I'm not going to be too upset about missing out on Fright Fest.
DH and I made sure to fill the gas tank in the car and the gas can for the generator, and picked up milk and beer. I think we're set!
We're in Portland and were leaving tonight for the beach. Luckily I saw this on facebook!! The hotel let us cancel due to the storms. My kids are pissed but I'm so happy to not have to deal with downed trees driving over the pass!
