a lot like Christmas!!
I started my Christmas crafts today! First off...a Christmas table runner! I used Moda JOL fabric, and a Fat Quarter Shop free pattern. Now I just need to back and quilt it!

Lovely! I have aspirations to make a quilted tree skirt. Had the pattern for years....
I bought the supplies I need to make LA's cheer squad ornaments, but that is as far as I have gotten. I keep saying this is the year I make their Christmas dresses, but I haven't done anything to make that happen yet. I dream big...
I've knitted hats for all of my boys for their stockings-- I just need to weave in the ends. I have dreams of doing some sewing for my kids-- baby brother arrived a few weeks ago, and the older brothers have really gotten into taking care of dolls and studies since then. I want to make them some play kits so they have more things to do. I was thinking messenger style diaper bags, diapers, carriers, and Moses baskets with blankets, and then throwing in extra stuff we have hanging around (bottles, baby towels, pacifiers, rattles, wipe case, blah blah blah). I found the most perfect geometric print fabric for both sets, so now I just need to figure out patterns. And time. Time is going to be the real issue.

I JUST started a knit table runner for my mom for Xmas. Other than a super easy baby blanket, this is the first item I've made for someone. Really I haven't finished many projects yet because I just recently starting knitting more seriously since learning how last year. I am also planning on making a cat ear hat for my 17 year old SIL. Not sure what else yet, depends how my hands feel, tbh. I plan on getting a lot done this weekend though since H will be playing his new video game most of the weekend.
